As Stacker is in the laboratory to intervene with Newton after his first drift with a Kaiju brain, Raleigh and Mako are continuing their successful trial run. As the two are told to test if Gypsy's body can function well for battle. Testing the Jaeger's ability to initiate certain gestures. In here, we see Gypsy slamming his left fist with his right palm. Also with raising both fists earlier on.
Both pilots have their minds melded with each other, as this technology successfully allow them to communicate neurally with the Jaeger's systems and well? Have the Jaeger to mimic every moment the pilot makes. The crowd of technicians, mechanics, engineers and rest of the Jaeger pilot teams witness Gypsy making a show for them. The Russian Jaeger team watched as well as they have their Jaeger directly standing by behind them. Cherno Alpha. The Australian pilots witness it as well as Herc is the second Marshall. So it's pretty much figured out as to why Chuck would be overlooking the trial run as well. Chuck shows a sign of disrespect as he made a remark that at least Raleigh remembered how to turn on the Jaeger himself. As he believed that Raleigh has to do better than that if he's going to battle in this last mission.
However, Herc disagrees as he tells Chuck that Raleigh was able to bring Gypsy back to Anchorage's shore after Yancy died during the accident in 2020. Herc does point out one good thing about Raleigh as he believed Chuck wouldn't even be able to handle the drift himself in a battle like Raleigh's. Then, back at the lab, Stacker helps Newton to receive information as to know the location of one of the black Kaiju market that runs in Asia. In their case, it would be in Hong Kong. Stacker told the Newton and Hermann that when their funding lowered, he turned to them for help as to also provide more Kaiju organs for them to study in the Research Division. Stacker tells Newton that he's going have to go through this person named Hannibal Chau if Newton wants to get his Kaiju brain. Hannibal Chau is in charge of running his black market here in Hong Kong, as their job is to harvest the Kaiju's flesh and organs until the monster is turns into a skeleton. And what they do afterwards is to alter it and sell the Kaiju's remains to their customers. As they had made the Kaiju parts edible for human consumption.
Later back at the trial run, Gypsy had completed their trial run exercise. But just as that is about to happen, Raleigh accidentally accessed his memory where he begins to latch onto a memory where Yancy was ripped out of the conn-pod out of Gypsy's head. The toll of that memory gives a hard bang to Raleigh's mind and then the same goes for Mako. If one pilot sticks onto one of their bad memories, it will give a hard hit to the brain and the other pilot will receive the same inflect as that pilot starts to remember his or her own bad memory. But if they're not trained to handle this sort of situation, in this case, she will start to lost herself in her mind. Where she is blocked from the real world and is receiving a nightmare that happens to be true since it's part of their memory. Mako couldn't acknowledge Raleigh inside Gypsy's head and she intervened with a memory where she was only a child.
During the Onibaba accident, Mako was the only survivor that's being stranded on the city of Onibaba in Japan. This accident was due to a Category-II Kaiju named after the city it's destroying. Mako continues sobbing until she sees jets flying by and attempting to bring down Onibaba the Kaiju. The Kaiju destroyed the jets with it's large lobster-like claws. As the mist vanishes, Onibaba spots one more survivor wandering around the city. As it's objective is to completely wipe out humanity slowly, it goes after Mako as she runs away from the Kaiju that's chasing her. Mako then finds an alley between two buildings and hid behind two large garbage containers. But because Raleigh is inside Mako's mind, he was in there as he had the ability to maintain that hard hit to his mind. But what he couldn't stop was to be able to see Mako's tragic lost happen. As the two minds are secured into one, Raleigh can't intercept it. The Kaiju continues to stomp it's massive feet on the ground as to search for that one last survivor. And...

Whew!! That's a heck of a long description ain't it? Well I'm not gonna waste anymore effort in doing so. This scene will be seperated, as usual. Into two parts this time round. So yay! :D
