I love this scene. First it visually shows how massive Jaegers are compared to a casual human. Making you think how many resources went to build those things and how truly desperate humanity was to build them. Second the fact that Gypsy Danger fought Knifehead when it was still dark. Now it's morning at least, makes you wonder about struggle and trauma Raleigh is going through. Drift was created because Jaegers should not be piloted alone, yet he managed to walk in it alone, damaged to a different shoreline for at least few hours.

Charlie Day would make a pretty good Seymour Krelborn in a remake of Little Shop of Horrors if they ever decide to make another musical.

I like how gipsy was a few miles away from base. Waited until it was sun rise then wasted so much energy and time to get to another place

I do like how the aliens actually learn from the fights with the Jaegers and make changes accordingly. We see Knifehead constantly attacking the same place it ripped Gipsy’s arm off because that was now a weakness but ever since this they learn to attack the head and because that’s what they learn is the weak spot causing Jaegers to start dropping left and right.

That's word it is true Gipsy is a female jeager and other jeagers and kaiju too. But man version are rare!
