Where we left off, Striker was buzzed by Leatherback's powerful electro-magnetic pulse wave that wiped out the power to the Jaegers and some of the Shatterdome's systems. Mostly consisting in the technician room. Having two Jaegers down and one being wrenched in out in the harbor, Raleigh convinces Stacker to allow them to pilot Gypsy once again to prevent further monstrosity oozing from a Category-IV Kaiju. Since Gypsy is the only Jaeger left to become the only analogue and nuclear-powered Jaeger. Without a Jaeger defending the lives of many people, a great horror rises to havoc as Otachi rams himself through buildings and buildings. To continue his scouting for Newton who had communicated with one of his Kaiju friends. Newton following the dashing crowd, accidentally tumbles onto a taxi car, Newton began to hear destruction of more buildings behind him. When he turned, it was clear that now Otachi is closing in on Newton.
Newton struggles to find the passage to the underground shelter as he smuggles himself away into the crowd that lead him to the shelter itself. The large metal doors locked and the crowd can only wait for the terror to be gone. Switching back to the harbor, Leatherback begins to prowl around the slouching and disengaged Jaeger as it seizes to respond completely. Possibly waiting for an attack. The gorilla growls at the sleeping machine and tries to wake it up by landing it's fist onto Striker's visor. The impact was hard which caused Striker to look to his right. Hercules unknowingly disengages from the Conn-Pod rig and flew off to the side due to the heavy impact. Resulting in a large injury to his arm. The Australians had only one mindless thing to do, to use puny flare guns. Chuck climbed up first to open the hatch on the roof of Striker's head. Hercules climbed up to do the same thing.
Hercules yelled at Leatherback, allowing him to open his curiosity to two little people standing on his mechanic giant opponent. As they say, curiosity kills the cat, but when looking at a Kaiju...curiosity does little. Leatherback raises his loud groaning as he hated the flare shot to his left eyes. The provoked monster raises his massive arm. But before he could do it, a light as bright as stadium lights shone behind. And to be continued...
