Obsidian fury's design was actually really cool. This I think was the best part of the movie.

Uprising wasn’t as good as the first Pacific Rim, but I liked Obsidian Fury. This scene was okay

That dude legit threw most likely a bunch of civilians in cars in an energy ball at the bad guy and then ran like a superhero to save that helicopter.

I love this guys description because he didn't complain about everything like everyone else and yes the Jaegers did get a speed buff. They used a new material that makes the jaeger lighter only gispy avenger doesn't make sense

Obsidian Fury, despite being the secondary antagonist, it still gave me a lot of Hightlights even more than the Kaijus themselves. Badass design, overpowered level and amazing weapon systems.

I feel really bad for Jake. Like, he watched his sister die in the helicopter after he just barely didn't catch the copter. I mean, yeah, it be horrible if you missed the helicopter altogether, but the only thing worse than missing it altogether, is watching as the index finger of the giant robot that you pilot, graze the side of a helicopter that is about to crash, and seeing your sister in that doomed helicopter. 🥺🥺 I mean, the whole thing was depressing af, but what mainly got me was how his finger grazed the side of the helicopter instead of catching it, or missing it altogether. Please, someone tell me I'm not the only one that cried because of that same reason..😔

You know... in the first one you could ignore collateral damage for two reasons: 1. we've already seen that the people evacuated to specially designed bunkers and enough of the Hong Kong fight took place in the bay for us to believe there's hardly anyone still out. 2. The world was ending anyway, if there was ever a time to pick up boats and swing wildly without worrying about hitting a skyscraper with people in it, it's when your fighting off the apocalypse. Here, however, thinking about the tens of thousands killed by the "hero's" jaeger... everyone in Sydney was caught off guard. They were totally stepping on, crashing into, and probably outright throwing with that gravity sling, sooo many people.

Gipsy AvEnGeR's fall was more dramatic than the death of Mako

Dude putting the video at 0.5x speed gives a similar feel to the first movie and putting it at 2x speed makes it a super fast paced action ride. Doesnt always work on certain parts but its still pretty cool.

if he didn't jump for the helicopter and continued running to it he would have probably got it

My points about this 3 minute scene: 0:40 - Why do the rocket launches sound like that? 0:42 - Why did he dodge the rocket and let it hit a populated building rather than tank it since it didn't even scratch him the second time. 0:57 - Why is the city defence turret shooting inward towards the city, when there's a perfectly good Yaeger there to fight it. 1:05 - Why is the helicopter circling Obsidian Fury when it just tried to shoot it 1:09 - Why did he throw the helicopter pad when the reason in catching it was to save it from crushing citizens. 1:23 - Why isn't he fighting back? He should at least be moving rather than just standing there idle and taking it. 2:24 - Did he check there was no one in those cars? There was people running around a second ago, how did the gravity cannon not pull them in? 2:42 - Why did he jump? The helicopter was going down really slow compared to his speed. He could have caught it if he took 2 more steps rather than jumping. 3:10 - In 3 minutes they managed to suit up 3 Jagers, and fly them all the way to the fight.

imagine if the Jaegers had competent pilots In these new Jaegers that don't move like real mechs and more like transformers it would've been like Raleigh vs Chuck. Both good fighters, but Raleigh still kicked his ass
