Stunning capture, red devil chucking along roadside competing with automobiles. Well done never before seen locos with such red lovely to watch that too at the start when both engines were puffing steam. Good old days still in memory my travel in Indian railways pulled by steam locos
Champion in some peoples minds, although I prefer the UP 844 Northern. A much more beautiful, faster and impressive locomotive. The UP Challenger was something to behold too. It too is very powerful, and is also faster then the 4014. Not that speed is that big of a distinction. But the 844 was a fast freight, fast passenger locomotive, and it does have the capacity to move down the rails at some very impressive speeds.
Now I know why they called this engine's namesake color Arrest me red. We would no doubt mistaken it for a fire engine here in the states. I Misread title pacing as chasing. Until that white four banger compact passed -RED°°°- & you up like new dad on way to the maternity ward doubling back after he forgot his wife.
Wow! That is one great looking locomotive. I am glad that old steam locomotives are being restored, although it is a costly proposition to do so. Here in the US, several of largest railroad companies have restored old locomotives and take them on tours around the country. The largest is the Union Pacific 4014 "Big Boy" which will be touring some of the western states this year. See it in the video below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UYYzhjUzCOU.html
