Drawing from CALS Extension Educator Jason Thomas' real-life experience, we'll discuss the journey of his educational Insect Hunter RU-vid Channel, which boasts over 65k subscribers and millions of views. Attendees will learn about the motivations behind its creation, the strategies employed to generate captivating content, and insights on connecting with a diverse audience.
Thomas will also present the educational Pest Friends board game. He will discuss the rationale behind its inception and the process for creating this type of gamified curriculum.
