btw: 500grams is half a kilogram: 1000g = 1kg which is equal to the weight of one litre of water. aka one bigger waterbottle that you buy in a six pack usually to bring home with you.

Taking a lot of art supplies to a trip and never using them? I don't know what you're talking about! Never happens to me. NEVVVEEERRRRR 🤡🤡🤡🤡 Small kit for every day use: one A6 sketchbook, one watercolor travel palette (12 colors), two mechanical pencils (0.5 and 2 mm tip), eraser, one fine liner, one waterbrush, one size 4 brush (included in the watercolor set). Big kit for any trip longer than a weekend: I take the small kit, plus: one A5 sketchbook for landscapes, some individual sheets of watercolor paper A5 size, one set of 36 colors watercolor palette, more variety in brushes like round and flat, dagger, etc., a tablet stander which I use as an easel on a desk, a light drawing board A4 size with clips, and a small folding seat for urban sketching. I have a dedicated backpack for only my art supplies, so I just need to grab that and go. And very often I only use the small kit during the whole travel. 😎

I'm currently moving my whole life, so this was helpful. I like the weight in grams as my suitcase can be up to 30kg.

What about some paints that’s acrylic or oil sticks and oil pastels like sennelier brand and Fredrix canvas roll pad ? Going to Floraida for my grandfathers memorial around may . SCARRY thing happened to my grandfather though but while I’m There I need my art supplies and I’m always carrying heavy things that’s not really necessary and stretched 16 x20 canvases . So trying to pack easy
