thank you for taking the time and energy to make and upload these videos. at almost 60 years old, i bought an indian scout bobber 2021. i am tickled to death with it. i haven't ridden a bike in three decades. so i am committed to re-learning 'bikisms.' baby steps. i love your channel. you are helping others learn and that is awesome.

The one in your video is not denim it appears to have pleated leather at the top and a beige looking leather below

@@myglide_rides I do, I ordered an XL like my other two but I should have just did a L ... it still fits well and I do like it a lot. Their canvas stuff is HEAVY duty

Yes, I have a couple from them ... I Highly recommend them. This one is the Murdock which is denim.

These are from Memphis Shades, they are about $79 USD - work very well in wet and cold conditions.

How much weight you can put like you showed on the video?

I'm not sure of the weight, all my stuff weighs less than a person so it's all good.

How long does it take for you to re strap everything before you hit the road?

About 1-2 minutes. Since everything is anchored with releasable buckles it's pretty fast. The Reax bag I can get to things w/out unbuckling it so it works out well.

About how far will a full tank get you? the scout doesn't have a fuel gauge so when do you know to pull over for gas?

I've gone about 120 miles before my fuel light goes on but I'm usually filling up at 100 miles. The tank is a bit small, but I make it a point to stop off in cool places.

What rain gear do you have or recommend?

I actually just use rain gear from Cycle Gear - Bilt. It's lasted me for two years and works great.
