Packraft Micro Adventure with Alpacka Caribou Packraft.

I chose to try and paddle a small un-used waterway after a 5km hike along the Suffolk coastline.

Wonderful video and footages. How did the Caribou Packraft handle windier conditions while out on the water compared to normal kayaks/canoes?

Obviously they are more effected as they are so light but still have roughly the same surface area. They are effected by wind but I’ve never had a huge issue.

Brilliant. I’ve watched all your packraft videos and after being on the fence for about 3 years I have ordered and am awaiting delivery of my very own Caribou. I ordered directly fr9m the USA as this was cheaper than EU now that we have left. Anyone else ordering - it’s worth searching for a discount code as I did and got 100 usd off mine!

Great. Just remember that the usd you saved you’ll spend on the import tax from the US. I know someone who recently brought from packraft Europe and didn’t pay any duty into the UK. There’s a video coming out next week on a review of an inflatable jacket for Packrafting so take a look at that. What did you order? A Caribou? Welcome to the world of Packrafting!! It’s addictive

@@Vildmark yes Alpacka Caribou. There are having issues so delivery has been delayed, but hopefully it will arrive in the next few weeks. Hopefully will save some import duty as it’s being delivered to a friend in US then sent on from there… Are you reviewing the Amfibio packraft that you mentioned in previous comments? I shall be very interested to see that! It’s already in my Christmas list!! Thank you for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated

It’s south of covehithe, Easton Broad to be precise. I’d really recommend this as a packraft. But before buying consider if you want a spray deck. The caribou doesn’t come with a spray deck but the Llama does.

Thanks for watching. Packrafting is a great sport. Yesterday I just through One in my bag, went out for a 8km hike and then paddled back to the van. The pfd (if you can call it that I wouldn’t use it in any water conditions where the water isn’t flat calm) Here it is.
