Stephen A's got a point. Mayweather is obviously a great fighter. He wouldn't have a record of 42-0 if he wasn't. He's definitely promoting this fight and hyping it, making people talk and wonder if ever the fight does happen. Mayweather is better technically,smarter in the ring and probably outside it. But Pacquiao is faster, hits harder and has good endurance, I can't see him losing

Actually the blood test is a non issue. The purse split is now the issue. Bottom line is this fight is not happening if it's not an even split, unless one of them loses a fight. Pacquiao hands are unbelieveable fast. Mayweather is fast on his feet, he may even be faster on his feet. I agree, Mayweather is teachnically better and that allows him to counter punch better. Pac has 38 kos in 54 wins, giving him a 70% ko rate. Mayweather has a 60% ko rate. Pac Ko-ed cotto in round 12, and hatton in 2. Mayweather Ko-ed hatton in 10 and could ko cotto. go down to a boxing gym in your area, get in the ring with a guy, and let him rock you (on purpose) and see if he clinches you when your hurt. and see if a referee lets you hit guys on the break and counts them out. It is clear and blatant. And see what are your odds of getting the same judges and referees for the next 7 years in a row.

Normally the technical boxer beats the puncher, but not when the guy can throw endless punches. Sure you can block and dodge 1 or 3 or 4 punches but when a guy like pacquiao can throw 50 punches you can't block them all
Floyd is smaller than Pacman, their earnings and ppv are quiet similar but pacman is worth more. Everyone knows Pacman, floyd is less well known although he does have a loyal following. De La Hoya is way bigger than Floyd,he is the highest earning boxer in boxing history, won olympic gold, knocked out so many guys and beat all the best fighters around at that point. There is no real comparasion. No one was as near as big as De la hoya at that point, nor likely will be again
