@@j_rab1016 insane...all nba 1st team, mvp runner-up...in year 17 with no sign of slowing down. His career is gonna be so much more appreciated when everyone stops and realizes how crazy this is
Durand Peavley he should and proven he’s still the MVP. The pundits that vote on it are MJ stans and will do anything in their power to make sure lebron doesn’t pass Michael in those categories. It’s shameful. Lebron is the best player of basketball.
@@dilli915 agree to disagree they both great but ill take kobe but I will say this ......if this was how lebron played every night back in the day we would have seen this debate end in the finals with kobe vs lebron with who ever won it
@@ChreamOhWheat lol why didn’t kobe make the finals in 2007 or 2011? you’re talking like kobe was consistent, like he didn’t blow a 3-1 lead against phoenix and then shit the bed in game 7. kobe is great but lebron can score just as good rebound and pass better,
This 2012 Game 6 performance vs. Celtics by LeBron James is like a top 5 greatest NBA playoff individual performance of all-time. He wasn't even the LeBron that we knew or recognized, he looked like a desperate man possessed by the spirit of a merciless assassin that night. His legacy was on the line, and he responded, he responded big time! He scored 45 of the Heats' 98 points. He took his game to a legendary level. I've never seen his mid-range jumper that hot before or since that game. Watching that live; it was just beautiful, and he played a flawless game. He was so organic and just so within perfect rhythm of the game. It was a masterful and transmorphic performance by one of the all-time greats in a do or die game I have ever seen. The best LeBron I have ever seen. That was a major legacy moment for him.
It would be hard to find ANY player, in ANY sport, that had more pressure coming into a game than LeBron did. His entire legacy was on the line. For Skip to say that LeBron had no pressure is BY FAR the most LUDICROUS thing I have ever heard ANYBODY say about sports. The only other pressure moment that I can think of that compares, is Cathy Freeman running the 400 meters for Australia in Sydney in the 2000 Olympics.
His jumper in 2016/18 playoffs got really hot too. But his rebounding this game was wild. He could have finished with like 55-20 in a closeout game if the Celtics kept it honest
@@Mercurial. I acknowledge it, it was still a great performance against a very good defensive team, as old as they were. The series should have not even gotten to 6 games, but the Heat typically struggled in the weak east.
Tbh I actually understand what skip was saying, Lebron has admitted that he was just doing whatever tf he wanted, and if you watch the game you could see that. If you play ball and you just do whatever you want despite the outcome, you would be surprised by how much better you are. Skip take was golden. 🤷🏾♂️
@@Djsam43that is some ABSURD fkn BS lmao his take was literally ‘THE PRESSURE HAD BEEN LIFTED’ and it was ‘THE LEAST PRESSURE HE’D EVER BEEN UNDER in a playoff game’ like he actually fkn spews that utter insanity VERBATIM word for word 😵💫😵💫😵💫 like i’m sorry but if you think it’s even remotely up for debate that his take was literally the dumbest horses-t that it was even HUMANLY POSSIBLE for anyone to say if they tried… then seriously you NEED to get your head checked out and i am genuinely concerned for your safety
But yet, Kevin Durant, playing with one of the greatest teams ever assembled, played against Lebron with "the weight of the NBA world on his shoulders in 2017" 🙄. This man is a clown.
@@BreadstickJesse the fact that he is still arguably the best player in the world in year 17 with the amount of minutes he has played is absolutely astonishing
He is the goat. Mj is the first player to make basketball worldwide, the competition he faced was nothing compared to what lebron faced and lebron is just more complete. He is top 5 in any category and at 35 he is still the only player who can win his team a game and adjust his game to do what is most useful: score, pass, defend. Mj is the best scorer of all time but not the goat.
Skip after Lebron win his 10th NBA title with a 85-30-20 Game 7 stat line: He had to score 200 points, he missed 1 free throw that could make the game go to overtime, he quit pressuring himself, he stopped trying...was he even on the court?
I was at this game. I'm a celtics fan, but it was amazing to see LeBron playing like he was in a video game. I couldn't believe how easy he made it look. A legend for real.
LeBron started to disappear against the Magic? Is that the same series he went off for like 38/9/9?? So it's OK for Jordan to lose in the playoffs as long as he puts up great numbers, but for LeBron 38/9/9 IS DISAPPEARING??
Honestly skip isn’t all that bad, he’s just outrageous with the cowboys (and I’m a cowboys fans lol) and anything that threatens mj, he hates lebron and will belittle anyone he has too to minimize anything lebron does, to the point he’s thrashed steph over the years because of it.
@@iillestrs2153 nah skip is pretty bad and if his fault because they pick trendy topics that he have very biased takes. Rarely u see good analyst about a player/team/game
@@iillestrs2153 nah bro skip is bad he literally says Durant took the hardest road to a championship by going to golden state and “saving” curry’s legacy, like WHAT that is the dumbest take he has had and he has had so many terrible takes. Not only that fox needs to strip him from being able to make topics for the show it’s literally the same damn show everyday lol
@@dozer7028 yeah, that Durant comment once again, he needs so he can bring down lebron. I already said that, the times he’s unbearable is anything he can try and bring lebrons legacy down, and anything to do with the cowboys. But I’d rather listen to a generic skip take, than a Stephen a smith take. When skip isn’t reaching to defend something he loves he’s actually really good imo
he said "he quit trying so hard" after he went on to score 45 points and 15 rebounds in one of the biggest games in his career to this day. This man is fucking crazy even back then😂😂
@@arnoldsadinmaa1443 he can’t give Steph credit because if he did it would make lebron loon good for coming back 3-1 vs Steph and took having KD to join Steph to beat lebron
@@sandyyandy check they stats and records in game 7s and ELIMINATION games.lebrick never choked a 3-1 lead nor went scoreless in the 4th quarter in those games
"His talent is his worst enemy." "Once DWade started passing him the ball he became motivated, he gave up on himself." 45/15/5 on like 70% from the field. Bro, there's only one good way to respond to Skip. WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING AND WHERE CAN I GET IT?
@R S Don't disrespect Paul like that... you must've forgot.. hes a better shooter than Klay thompson hahahaha, Paul became such a joke since he retired. That '08 celtics team really act like they are a legacy that had a 3peat lol
I was on skip side back then I didn’t believe the hype around the king 👑 but after he left the heat and went back to Cleveland he made me a believer. Now fast forward he’s the NBA leading scorer and top ten in assists and 35th in rebounds he lived up to the Hype I would have to admit it!! The KingGoat
I don’t get how skip can say KD is better than lebron but still hold lebron to a much higher standard, KD can have 8 points in 35 minutes and skip will still make excuses for him, but when lebron scores 29 in a half and only 7 in the second half he gets on him for the whole week
Skip really tried to bring em down from 1 shot in the first 2 minutes of the game after one of, if not the best playoff performance ever 😂 skip a genius at gettin ppl to talk about him with his nonsense no way he actually believes anything he says
"I DONT apologize" /pounds podium. Yeah... That's not a virtue lol I don't trust any human that says this. Along with "I'm never wrong" it shows you're incapable of growth. I know this is just entertainment, but still lol. That comment is asenine, 10 and 11. Thanks for another great segment guys. Ty for not letting Skip off the hook SA ;)
Consider this: Lebron has played 17 years in the NBA with 14 playoff appearances. Not once, not one single time has Skip acknowledged Lebron simply had a good game. Skip has never sat back and said, “Lebron played great tonight.” Always multiple asterisks, always crediting teammates and finding flaws in his performance. Not a single game.
@@reedraikes7471 I read it wrong. For some reason I thought he was saying skip hasn’t acknowledged lebron till this year. And I was saying that it’s because he’s not in playoffs this year and he’s not seen as a threat right now to Jordan’s mantle in his mind. So for the first time he can chill and actually give bron some props.
This is the best LeBron game ever. If he lost, his legacy would be destroyed. Possibly destroyed beyond repair. No other game has his legacy hanging in the balance other than this game.
This game was when LeBron truly demonstrated his greatness and became one of the most dominant players ever. If he wants to win a game, he will win it. This was when that all started.
I see why they had to get Skip away from Stephen A. Shannon is more chill he can listen to skip lie and laugh it off. Stephen gonna fell what’s up AND whoop his ass
I remember watch that game live, all I kept saying is LeBron ain’t cracked a smile all game,to me that’s the game he accepted becoming a villain instead of the player that wants everyone to like him
gosh I miss this duo, they made every morning so much fun. But I was a teenager/young 20s when they had their show together, I don't think I could get through a segment without a headache these days lol
@@KilluaGonthis was the most must-win game of his career. The 51 point performance was great but he lost and his legacy wasn’t on the line. The Pistons game was amazing too but that added to his legacy. This game actually would have irreparable damage if he lost.
The next recommended video should be First Take after LeBron wins his first championship just to hear the blasphemy that skip clueless has to say then 😂
Yeah this work they put in the beginnings from Cold Pizza to the time when Jay was the moderator was the Golden Era and it was kind of a niche show and then they sort of became bigger than themselves and sort of caricatures of what they started as.
I can really appreciate Skips troll. He had me when i was younger, but now I absolutely applaud Skip. He made 1st take watchable and entertaining! Skip will talk at lebrons HOF ceremony with crass but knowing praise. Love me some "Skiii-uppp!"
Bruh they said he played like the old Bron in Miami…that’s nuts..he’s two teams removed and 2 chips up and the are saying the same thing when he has a great game now.. this warriors series kicking his ass but I’ll cut him slack in year 20 with a supposed foot injury he was supposed to get surgery on. GOAT.
