Blue Ridge Georgia is one of my favorite places to visit and I was so thankful that the Ryan family invited me to go on their annual family fishing trip. I brought my inflatable paddle board this year and made a few modifications to make it the perfect vessel for the river. This was a beautiful time to get away and relax and enjoy time with friends and family. If you have never been, it’s definitely a place to put on the list!

I'm a little picky with trout. I only like pan (seared?) or foil-wrapped-grilled, WHOLE, seasoned with lemon slices and Tony Cachere's. I actually want to see the head and tail on my dinner plate. Something special about that. I was stationed in Rota, Spain for about 5 years and a group of us would frequent the local seafood restaurant, right on the beach and we'd get a couple kilos of peel and eat shrimp, fried green peppers (pimiento frito), jamon serrano, manchego cheese and that's just the appetizer(s). Then, a giant platter of catch of the day, 30 or so whole fish, fried; they were small, but delicious!!! Oh yeah, and neverEnding pitchers of the best Sangria in the world... Sorry if TMI

Don't believe I've ever seen anybody paddle board fishing looks like an it would be awesome we have an excellent trout fishing lake here in AZ call the Blue Ridge Reservoir great trout fishing creeks that run out either end awesome video like your paddle board idea👍

Those trout can be cleaned in 10 seconds. Cut from the vent up to the throat. Then cut a slit horizontally through the gill plate. Put your fingers in that slit and rip straight down. Everything comes right out, including the 2 front fins.

If u like trout fishing make a trip to Arkansas. On North Fork and White River . U can use a white river zig jig. And catch and release 100 in a day. U can only keep 5. North Fork is famous for fly fishing. Before dark u can float it. U can use a jerk bait and catch some nice trout 10 to 15 pd german brown trout. Rivers are deep in places very swifted water.

Bri Sorry to see your Ranger is on her last leg😒 We had a 95 Ranger Xcab Splash 3.0 5 speed stick who ranged J Farms and Jupiter for a decade and a half. Taught my sons how to drive a stick and spent many days waiting for them at Dwyer and Jupiter HS. Hauled MX bikes to Moroso and Thunder Cross. Sometimes with some fishing rods hanging out too. What a great truck. One of my favorite rides. Good luck truck shopping (hope it’s another Ranger🤞). Keep up the good work. Enjoy your adventures. CU around 🇺🇸

Trout is excellent smoked. I grew up in the country where the only fishing was fresh water fishing. Now live by the ocean and only do salt water fishing. Definitely a different vibe to this video.

Excellent job harvesting some nice trout. You did a great cleaning job with the fish. That is a great cleaning tray you have for your tailgate. Love your channel. 193k isnt much. I'm a mechanic and see cars coming in everyday with 400k-600k I've even seen some trip a million. Regular maintenance is the key.

Looks like fun. Salmonids have that parasite looking thing. In chinook and coho salmon you can use those to identify between the two. Oregon used to use the pyloric caeca along with others in their regulations as a method of identification. A hard thing to do if you ultimately have to release the fish. Oh you had to count the number of the fingers in the fish.

I clean trout a little different. I gut them the break the gills. Pull the gills and guts out all together. Then pull back on the head and break the spine and pull all the skin off with the head. Clean the blood line out and your done. Beauty is if you pull the gills out it will take the pictorial fine with the gills and guys. Or I’ll leave the head and skin on and grill them.
