As I was going to sleep one night, the thought hit me: “I wonder if I could camp on a platform in the ocean?” Crazy, right? Well, I’ve been researching and planning how to do this for awhile now and my dream finally came to life in one of my favorite places in the world. Join me on this inaugural trip where I attempt to do something that I don’t think anyone else has ever attempted: primitive ocean camping!

Bri, I'me new to the channel. Thank you Blue Gabe. You probably wont see this but I noticed when you showed your trailer that you were just using a ball lock. They will just tie the trailer to a truck or car on a small trailer and still just drive off. Experience talking. Use a rim lock or tire lock of some kind and you will stand a better chance of not coming out one day and finding, "ALL GONE!!". Great content!!!! Love it!!!

Crazy! I’m on vacation at Marco Island right now! We went to the dome homes today on a Craigcat tour, it was a fantastic experience!! Our guide said all those beaches you could camp and stay on, what a great idea to primitive camp!

I camped there back in 2001, the dome hoses were still on land and were to cool to explore. Beautiful spot to camp!!!

Old scoutmaster here. Appreciate your adventure. That is not a grill it is a stove. It isn't meant to be used like that. You need a griddle or pan. You could end up with a grease fire using it like that. grease fire on your PWC is no joke.

Girl. You need to get some pans for that Coleman grill! Get some small non-stick. They'll work wonders! I also just watched a vid where you tin foil wrapped your fish and lobster and it caught on fire. Pans girl pans! And a small pot for the lobster. If you got the cash, get a nice sized rock pan or cast iron. Cheap non-stick with metal handles will also do the trick. P.S. I just subscribed to your channel because it's nice to see a women doing stuff I love to do and watch (solo camping, fishing, spearing). Keep it up!

I love this idea. I want to do it with an inflatable trampoline. That will get me higher up off of the water. The cool thing about it is that it’s totally legal. I want to do it on rivers that go through cities. Any river that is deemed navigable by the Army Corps of Engineers is publicly owned property and you’re allowed to sleep on your “boat” just like any other boat.

Wow, I remember going here with my aunt and uncle about 10 years ago. The domes were still on the beach! Crazy how much the water level has risen. This looks so awesome!

The water level has not "risen", the sand has shifted. An important thing to consider when building anywhere near the coast, whole lighthouses have been moved farther inland due to erosion.

Pretty interesting!! I thought you were going to inflate the dock while on the Sea Doo out on the water, tie up together, anchor the dock, then set up the tent with no setting foot on land!!! Hahaha. Ok.....what the heck!!? An inflatable dock? I'm a shore fisherman , a diver and soon to be getting into the fishing jetski's......and I had no idea something like this dock existed.
