Hi, just wanted to ask about the little orange telescopic paddle/oar jobbie I saw you tucking into the front of your boards net? Not seen one of those before, Really enjoyed the video
Love your videos Stephen, your sunset paddle was like the start of the notebook movie 😂 looking forward to the next adventure 😀 onions on the go pro and all......
‘Saturate your mind with nothing but beauty’. Absolutely on point👌. Just taken it up myself, and you capture what it’s all about. Wonderful editing, and a great message👍
😅I met Gavin last summer, great guy, he was coaching and hiring at Ballyroanan, a few miles south of Toomebrigde. He had very decent hire, school equipment.
Stephen one of you best videos yet. Looked great and very informative. The countryside is so lush and doing the board and the drone is a feat. Thank you for sharing.
I loved the video - it is fun (the guys and the cows), beautiful (landscape) and interesting (SUP stuff). Wow. BTW, where did you get the little bag attached to the handle of the SUP. Looks very practical for little things... Didn't find it in your link list... Thank you!
Wow just found you Stephen greeting video look forward to catching a load more. Love paddleboarding camping etc. I'm on board fella. That's my dad's area around toome ❤
😂 Great stuff. The drone footage is amazing, it's great to see it from that angle. The whole place is pretty special, and the sunsets just add to the magic. You have done it justice, and more. 👌
Fantastic video. I'm amazed with the quality of your work with only your main Camera, a GoPro, X3, & a DJI Mini. So well done! Thanks for sharing your fun adventures!!
Thank you! 🙂 I actually did a recce shoot the previous week with my high end mirrorless camera and a big zoom lens to capture a lot of the wildlife footage ahead of the actual trip
You could try a kayak, lots of comfort sitting down. You could also try one of the camping blankets to keep warm during the night, I think snugpak do one for under £40. Loved the video, thought at first you would set off from Portglenone and sail to Church Island.
Another great video Stephen, I'm hoping to take my inflatable kayak on the blackwater river and camp on coney island on lough neagh sometime this summer
Thanks Damien 🙂 just make sure you check the forecast 1000 times. My big fear is getting stuck on an island after paddling out in good weather that changes overnight
Always check for fresh cow poo before picking a camping spot! I nearly got caught out on the shore of lough neagh a couple of weeks ago. I had my lunch where you camped one day last winter and then had a lot of bother getting back under the road bridge at Toome as there was so much flow😃
A cracking video, just what the doctor ordered for a Monday morning. I watch one video then it leads onto another one of your videos, best channel on RU-vid 👍. Bring on the next one.
Definitely get comfortable and confident with the board before heading on a camp. Took me over a year to get confident enough. Loads of extra things to think about but its a great way to go camping
thanks! I tried it once since but forget to bring anything for my legs so had cold ankles all night. but it works perfectly if you remember something to keep you lower legs warm. Best solution is wear it normally with the hood up and stick legs in a spare hoody or something
@@StephenJReid I took a training session on Loch Leven With Rough Coast Glencoe early this month while on holiday and loved it! We both now own boards and are obsessed SUP'ers. Will be planning Camping adventures for next year when my SUP skills are up to it!
Not for me; particularly in gator-ridden Florida. But I was impressed how the inflatable paddle board doesn’t look inflatable once it was inflated. Looks like a normal one.
Yikes, yeah helps that there are no gators here! yeah the inflatable boards are super rigid when inflated. very high pressure, 20psi. they feel rock solid.
