As someone who does not come from any other racket sport., I can confidently say tennis players are the worst padel players by a landslide. not just because all of the bad habits but also because they think they know enough to not have to play padel on a padel court. If they want to play tennis then they should stick to tennis.

Well, us (higher level) tennis players do have an advantage in the fact that we can skip all the recreative padel players who may have been playing for years and immediately start participating in the playtomic 4-5 range due to sheer volley skill and the fact we can often drop any ball at most a foot off of the intended location to offset the bad habits (glass? what glass) :P I am playing for half a year now and around playtomic 4. But I do agree with you: If I want to get higher, I do need to drop a lot of bad tennis habits.
