This stadium keeps getting better and better as time goes on. I’ll miss the OG park in the park though. I loved smashing balls over the fence when they installed it hanging out with Glen Hoffman’s sons.
Haven’t seen the new layout yet in person, and I’ve always appreciated how the organization has continued to reinvest into the experience but this really left me scratching my head as to what 20mil actually accomplished. I’m not really blown away with the new look. It looks vaguely similar and seems like a waist of money that could have been allocated for you name it. 20 mil to replace real grass with fake grass, an unforgiving seating area a small playground that is new but not exactly extraordinary, with a tallest bat feature that no one would conclude is a bat on their own with out being told what it is, and a small ass dugout for the dogs in the community. And they moved statues and bricks around.. all for 20 mil. Not sure if I need to see it in person to be swayed one way or the other.
