Now this is real decluttering! I love that you keep paring down your collection to what really serves you, rather than keeping everything for the sake of having it. That said, I would definitely keep the Weaver's Oracle. Perhaps find a different way to use it? Maybe just once or twice a year, e.g. the equinoxes? Maybe on a Tarot-and-Oracle-fast, i.e. "abstaining" from both for a few days, just this one deck, one card only? Something like a spiritual "depth-week"? Maybe with a specific task: sit with a card, journal on what you can learn from this one card? How are you like this woman, how different? Maybe trying to answer: if you were in the deck, what would your story be, your wisdom? (Sorry, just with all the superficial cash-grabby stuff around, this one seems really special...)

You know what the more I sat with this deck after filming, the more I realized that I couldn't let it go. LOL THANK YOU for sharing some ideas of how I can incorporate it. I want to make space for it.... everything i've ever done it has been rich and meaningful. Frequency of use isn't the only measure of value - I need to remember that!

I don’t use my Weaver’s a lot either. BUT when I need the wisdom or ancestral knowledge the weavers never fail to give me that. There are decks that have their place in this world even if they’re not “work horse” decks.

Oh my…what a surprise to see Goddess on Earth side by side the Weaver's Oracle! I absolutely LOVE Carolyn Hillyer’s deck (and music!) , and in fact made a beautiful portrait of Carolyn a few years ago after taking a workshop with her at the Goddess Spirit Rising Conference in Simi Valley, CA. She is a extraordinary artist/musician/soul. Truly, I could never let the Weaver's deck go... and lol- Goddess on Earth will be with me forever! Actually, now that I think of it, I can't wait to do a reading with both of them together! Thank you Lisa for sharing Goddess on Earth!!

The Weaver's Oracle is just so special it hurts my heart! I also don't use it often because it requires so much attention, but it's so unique I couldn't bring myself to ever rehome it.

I suspect that may also be where I land on this one. I'm going to sit on the decision for a long time, I think. But it is clear it's time with me is not right now... still.... I do completely suspect that I will regret it if I let it go entirely.

Hi, Lisa. Letting go of decks is sometimes challenging, isn't it? But I almost always feel better afterwards knowing that the deck will have a good home. There are so many decks today. I have come to realize that I can love and appreciate a deck without having to possess it. I get overwhelmed if I have too many. Decluttering can be very freeing. Definitely a personal choice. One size does not fit all. I hope you feel good about your decisions! 💙🌻

I absolutely LOVE this series; not necessarily because I own some (or any) of these decks, but because it gives me clear-cut themes I could see working (or not working) for me. Tarot is so individual and there's a deck out there for everyone

Oh don’t let the weavers go, I’m certain you will regret it. That dark ocean deck felt claustrophobic to me looking at it. I’m so glad you didn’t get rid of the tarot of the crone. The mystical healing cards, try pulling one with a card from believe in your own magic oracle. I find the two together are so magical. Loved this Lisa ❤️🌸

I was sad to see the Aurum Lenormand get cut even though I suspected it would be. I would be more than happy to pay to rescue it from purgatory if it grows claustrophobic. My mother lived in Japan as a child and I feel so connected to the traditions she would share with us growing up. Kintsugi is such a lovely tradition that speaks so beautifully about how we can chose to move forward in life. I realized I had been holding my breath when I sighed with relief that you decided to keep Pagan Otherworlds. Thank you for sharing these moments with us. Your authenticity always shines so clearly and beautifully. 💖

I have the Goddess on Earth Oracle and i love it so so much. I bought the bog photographic book because her artwork is beyond stunning. I pull a card out of it for the week usually BUT i can also use it in a reading by itself. It absolutely can stand on its own. I just adore it, so beautiful and full of wisdom and a beautiful way of looking at the feminine Goddess energy.

I just bought the Wild Unknown Archetypes Deck this month because the guidebook looked absolutely amazing - and it's actually my first deck from Kim Krans! It seems like such a unique deck to me precisely because of the archetypes aspects, though I can understand that maybe for some people that might not resonate. As a writer, tropes/archetypes are something that really vibe with me so it was something that was easy to connect with.

About the Fairy Tale Lenormand - the two girls with the bear are Snow-White and Rose-Red, from one of Grimm's lesser-known fairy tales (Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot). I loved this fairy tale as a girl :-) I bought the deck because I can't find Lisa Hunt's Fairy Tale Tarot... but it doesn't scratch the itch for me.

Hi LIsa! If you like spiral-bound books, you can take your non-spiral-bound books to the local printer shop (I use a neighborhood Fed-x store) and have them bind them for a reasonable cost. I do that for lots of my journals and coloring books...it makes it easier for write/make notes/color in!

Oddly I’m looking at the Weaver’s Oracle (I think due to one of your say yes to the deck) as an available option for the Tarot of the Crone so you’ve confirmed that crone energy in this video. Glad that both are not headed to purgatory 💚 I understand the choice of healing waves vs the ocean tarot.

I am NOT a lenormand girl a d I have a really hard time with lenormand cards, but I do like tbe symbols. So I an really thinking about the celtic. I love how it has no words. I like the style of the images. I feel like I could work with that deck. I've been thinking (forever) I wanted to create my own photo deck using lenormans symbols but not have it be a strictly lenormans deck, just an intuitive "show me me sign" type of deck, and this deck, for me, comes close to what I imagined. Just enough and not too much.

Hey Lisa, I’m really enjoying this series, I think it’s great that your pretty mindful in terms of your deck collection, I like to call my collection my library. In saying that I don’t have a lot of decks, and I’m pretty mindful of whether I’m actually going to connect with the deck before I buy it, I will usually watch a walk through of the cards if I’m considering a deck, and actually both yours and Dawn Michelle ‘s opinions I really trust and respect when it comes to tarot, because you both have similar tastes in terms of artwork and decks as I do. I adore faeries, I have since I was a child, and anything with a whimsical or enchanting feel I tend to go for, which is why I love the forest of enchantment tarot, and the newest deck I added to my collection, which is the Tarot of a Witches Garden, I instantly connected with like as soon as I got it because there’s fairies all throughout the deck. My favourite Oracle is the Faerie Guidance Oracle by Paulina Cassidy, its pretty much me in deck form I love it. The tale in the card with the two girls with the bear behind them is Snow White and Rose Red I believe, which is one of my favourite fables actually, my number one favourite fairytale is Snow White

For the watercolor painting, I just put mine in frames that have the glass cover, and I don’t put them in direct light. The glass will protect them if someone was to get on them. Light you want to watch more depending on the lightfastness of the paints that were used. That determines how long it can be in light before it begins to fade. I see that there is UV glass that you can get if you want them in the light to help protect them, but I prefer my curtains closed, specially with my bjds, so I’ve never looked into it. If you’re looking for something to seal it, I’ve used Dorland’s Wax Medium to seal my watercolor bookmarks I’ve made. That was the most recommended when I was looking up sealing my bookmarks, so I could caring them around with me and use them without worry. Though, you wouldn’t need to do that if you’re just gonna frame it. Also, seeing the Celtic Lenormand reminds me that I really need to get back into learning Lenormand, especially since I now have a deck with gender neutral cards, but I have no idea how to read the second person card. I’m too busy making my tarot deck to sit down and decide what I’m going to do, but the whole second person card being, like, a partner of love interest, etc., is just completely unreadable to me since I’m aro.

I use the second person card in all sorts of situations... Me and coworker.. me and friend... Me and boss.... Etc. It can help in any situation involving another person. The key is to decide who it is before laying the cards. If there's no one you want it to represent at all I'd just leave the card out of the deck when you don't need it! And thanks for all the tips on protecting my painting!!

I had thought of just taking it out, but I wasn’t sure about doing that when I finally worked up to a grand tableau which was my goal when I was learning a bit a few years ago. My close family members do come up on occasion when I do tarot readings, so that will work well 😊

I got rid of Pagan Otherworlds pretty quick, but it does haunt me occasionally. Weavers Oracle is such a BIG voice...I imagine it takes up a lot of space in anyone's practice. I use the Dark Goddess in 'Fool's dog' as well. It works just fine that way...but I do wish I had the indie version. Crone is just so good, but it takes a little time to get to know it completely..then you'll never want to let her go...ever.

I have both, the Mystical Healing and the Heal Yourself Reading Cards, mixed up together in one deck. Pulles out the cards I didn't liked for the topic or whats in the guidebook . It's my deck to set a intention on New Moon and no, I don't like the artwork (in neither deck), but I like the guidebooks a lot. And usually for other decks I'd never even think about buying a deck with artwork I don't like. But for this decks, it works. Not perfect, but it's fine. I actually thought about making my own deck to use along these guidebooks but that'd be a big project :D

It keeps surviving culls and I'm still not really sure if it's a fantasy self issue - like I just WANT to love it so much... I think if it gets put up in a This or That declutter in the future yet again, it really may not survive. We'll see.

Hi Lisa, from other comments it seems you're already thinking about this but I did want to add: I think its very good to check in with your collection and downsize and evaluate and all of that. For the Weavers deck (not gonna lie, I'm not a fan) it definitely is one you should keep for later. Its one of those deck you may not be reaching for now, but you already feel its presence as a teacher, as a deck to turn to when you're ready for stillness or something. Of course we can say this about many decks, but you clearly already feel this way and I do believe you will reach for it in the future and would regret letting it go now.

I really like the mystical healing reading cards, but I've always wanted the archetypes deck as well though. You had a few really tough ones, don't know that I could have gone through letting them go. I'm a hoarder though, I know it. I will have a very very hard time letting anything go, even the stuff I don't use

Lisa, could I suggest give Tarot of the Crone a try by candlelight? It's my favorite "in-the-dark" reader - and just go fully intuitive without worrying what system it follows. For me, the cards speak well to each other in a multi-card spread, and I usually use it at Dark Moon.

Those were some tough decisions you made :)! The Celtic Lenormand is one of the few Lenormand decks that I've considered, but the Cute Little Lenormand looks really nice, too... I'm one of those crazy people who rehomed their Pagan Otherworlds (I had the book and everything): I really, really, REALLY loved the pip cards and the Moon, Death and Wheel from the majors, those are so beautiful!! But I didn't like any of the cards with human figures, plus the deck was just too slippery and big to shuffle :(. I have the Dark Goddess app too and use it quite often, but haven't purchased the mass market version yet, because it looks like it's the same kind of cardstock as Shadowland Tarot and the gilding on that deck really hurt my hands (=another deck I ended up rehoming).

I got my cinnamon tea for this .. I am excited to hear your decisions :D Edit: - Oh my .. I now want the Celtic Lenormand! I am adding that to my list for any time I decide to dive in Lenormand decks :) - Have you looked into the wisdom keepers oracle? It is what I think of the weaver's oracle in terms of purpose. I use it as my council of wise people and I use it when I need motherly/grandmotherly advice or insight. It has a story for each of the people's faces .. and you can just forget yourself looking at these faces. They just speak to you .. or me .. but yea. I own that deck and it is the reason when the weavers' oracle came up for pre-order .. I didn't get FOMO or think of it much .. Ps : Lisa .. would you compare the Goddess on earth oracle to the Lantern oracle?

Tarot of the Crone has been in purgatory for months. Every time I look at it, I can't get rid of it. I am start to think that is just the personality of this deck. She will work when she feels like it, kind of like the Brian Froud decks.

Great video! ❤️ I had the exact same issue with the shadowscapes & fairytale lenormand. I ended up keeping shadow because I just love all the Tiny (sigh) details.fingers crossed there is a bigger, better quality edition at some point. I still have the Fairytale because I only have 2 lenormands, but as soon as I find another I love, it’s gone ( I keep it at the cottage anyway). I am so glad you kept the Pagan Otherworlds! If only because as a fellow Canadian who had to order this deck & book from the website, the shipping cost and currency conversion cost was so bad I ordered the bundle wt the materia prima & the oracle deck, in case I later wanted the latter. If you ever regret giving up Pagan O, you will literally have to pay for it! Very impressive that you decluttered so many decks. If you don’t mind my asking, where do you sell/ re home your decks ? (I would have been interested in buying the Ocean tarot, but aside from that I have a bunch of decks to re home & none are OOP or rare or $$$. so I don’t think eBay wants them lol.

No no no, Lisa don’t release the Weavers!!!!! I have both of those decks and I really don’t see them as similar or able to stand in for one another. I do hope you decide to keep both. You’re killing me on this version of this or that ……. Keep both the dark goddess and crone they are both amazing!!!! And the indie dark goddess is irreplaceable!!! I bought the large guidebook separately from the deck, but not sure if you can still do that. The full size guidebook is kind of a must tbh.

I wonder how much it would change if people had both the weavers oracle and the goddess on earth. goddess on earth is newer and I believe pricier so I wonder how that skewed the results.

I really like the Mystical Healing Reading Cards meanings, but the artwork is not my aesthetic at all, so I can't get it. Haven't gotten the Wild Unknown archetypes yet. I've watched walk throughs and just can't see myself working with it often enough to justify getting it.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't really care for the pagan otherworlds. The art is pretty enough but it's always bothered me how Christian it feels for a deck with the word pagan in its title.

I hate the glossy in my Dark Goddess and I opulent connect really. I would really prefer the Crone. But waiting to be mass market and no glossy pleaseeeee. I bought the Healing Waves after your video but there is a lot of weird perspectives I hate, weird arms, the seagulls doesn't look like seagulls and that really make me angry. But there is some other cards I love. But I never reach for this to be honest.

So much gutwrenching during this video! Luckily it all ended well. I don't use my Weavers' at all but I'm keeping it for my crone days, along with my Crone tarot. Ahh, the Dark Goddess! I have the MM with the book but the indie has some better design choices for sure. Have you ever had the She Who Watches Oracle by ELP? I wish I could get this to complete my ELP collection but ... shipping to Europe😬
