I bought the “v1” by the same link I think, it opened the watch I already have favorite on Aliexpress 🤔🤨 Now I have to wait to see what I’ll receive 😂🤷🏻♂️ I like the green seconds hand and the Pagani shield 🛡️ instead of the full name on the dial, on that watch I think “less is more” because some watches have too much text on their dial.
@@watchreviews4k this is what bothers me about trying to order one of these when i read this when i want to leave them a note, i dont want a V1 version . . . If you want to change your order info, leave a note to the seller. Your requests cannot be guaranteed - but the seller will do their best to meet your needs . . doesnt inspire confidance
I feel blessed being alive at a time when you can get so much watch for so little money. As a fledgling watch collector I lusted after the Rolexes and the Omegas of the world but now I'm finding it difficult to justify spending $10k+ on wristwatches that are only marginally better than what Pagani Design and others on Aliexpress have on offer. So while I do see myself owning at least one luxury watch in the future, I will not be buying a whole stable of them like I'd previously envisioned. Keep up the good work! Your watch reviews are an absolute joy to watch.
I got the V1 for 60€ last week, on a really good deal, what is killing me is the waiting for delivery, anxiety is a terrible thing. 😅 I really like the Air King homage, I got bored with all submariner that are virtually identical.
@@watchreviews4k I plan to wear mine was my everyday watch and see how long it’ll last, my current watch (Technos T205-07) I got it almost 20 years ago and it still going.
@@watchreviews4k I’m one week with the watch, only downside is the bad lume and a lack of half-link on the bracelet, my older watch (with 20 years of use) had basically no-lume anymore but the pagani is frustrating because after I got out of light it shows some lume, but dies too quickly 😥 Sadly Addiesdive and San Martin doesn’t have a “Air King” homage, but if they had probably would cost 3 times the price of pagani (ಥ﹏ಥ) since they would use a proper NH38 Some times I wish I could design my own watch, basically would be using existent parts, basically grabbing a GMT with NH34 and getting a custom dial, but I don’t have the manual ability to do something so delicate and just the cost of parts (without considering a custom made dial) would be too expensive for me 😢
If the lume glowed better, I would really like the way they used both blue and green on the dial. Not that I ever actually use the lume to read my watch in practice, but it's a nice thing to have I suppose? Making a V2 that still has a phantom date is a disappointment.
I just received the V1 and I love the comb cue design. Bought it on the 11-11 sale for $75 CDN. Definitely can't beat the price point value for this watch. If Timex, Casio or Citizen and possibly Seiko made a watch like this with the same specs it would cost minimum $500 plus. Great video mate keep up the good work. Happy holidays 👊🏽
Thx for the review, good job!! Want to buy air king homage so bad, but everytime there is something wrong... this time the nh35 with a date picker under the dial is a deal breaker for me. This ghost date position of the crown irritates me. I've already tired of waiting proper air king homage.
I gotta have one, might throw it on a leather strap though. Just recently acquired a Tissot Couturier Quartz and now I want this and a Oceanus S100 to rotate on my wrist during the week. I want a Rolex Air King but my budget simply isn't there yet, looks like an awesome homage.
Pagani are great products for the price. I actually enjoy taking a Dremel tool to the bracelets, and round everything up to my liking. I agree with that damn micro adjustment part of the clasp. They are a real pain in the ass to adjust. Great review
Brilliant little watch, the lume as always with Pagani is a bit of a let down, however for the price and specifications at that price you would expect something to give. Might treat myself to one of these Great review as always 👍
Personally I like the V1 more with no crown guards. Also I like the more rounded and fluid case in the v1 better, but yes, this v2 version resembles more the new air king, which for me is a down, I don’t really like the replica spirit of PD instead of homage.
Very nice watch. I have a Pagani Daytona with the same clasp and yes, it is sharp. Better put this on another strap or bracelet. Having that clicky date complication when there's no date window is, uh.. weird. They should've just placed a date window although it would kinda ruin the aesthetic. Still, I just broke my beloved Seiko 5 SNZH57K1 and I haven't found anyone to fix it. For probably lower cost than having it repaired, I could get this watch, but those sharp edges on the clasp makes me think a little bit. I hate those sharp edges.
If pagani design could make a homage of the sky-dweller (they don't have to replicate the exact functions, only the GMT wheel and the date will do good ) they deserve a pat on the back.
I've got mixed feeling about those crown guards. Personally I'd prefer case without those. Do I see well, that the bezel on PD is wider than the original one? I really like sharpness of the case of Explorer but I really dislike wide bezels like at the Conquest from Longines. Anyway, because of your reviews I've decided to purchase the PD 1690 V2. I see it more casual and versatile and I like the texting on the dial (except the pt time but I've to alive with it). Personally I prefer fully name of the brand under the logo and that's what I've missing on the PD 1692. I'm very curious about this piece, how does it feel in real and the quality of it. Do I remember well, that there's the screwdriver in the box to adjust the bracelet? If yes, is it useful or it's required to buy another, better tool to do it? Regards 😊
A screwdriver wasn't included with this piece. No, they aren't useful. See my bracelet resizing video below. I recommend the Bergeon screwdriver set shown, available from Amazon. Regards, #WR4K ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0dBTWjswqC8.html
Any good after market bracelets for this watch? Recently picked up the Explorer PD 1692. Not a fan of the bracelet! Micro adjustments are so hard to use & the bracelet is so jangly and rattles like crazy.
Why not get the steeldive version I think they would use crazy lume. Not sure why my comment got offensive from youtube warning lol I just got the V1 and the bracelet was so bad it took hours and a numb finger to remove 3 links and then it won't budge.Spent 15 bucks just to get another new bracelet
Hi Do you know how to spot that is there a stainless steel crown ? I purchased one of these and have a crown made of bronze and covered with nickel. Unfortunately I have an allergy to nickel. I love this watch but need a steel crown. Is there any way to get a replacement from Pagani or aftermarket? Thank you
I like this V2, but overall I like the V1 more, its case without the crownguards is more appealing to me. When you read about it, that people where able to pick the V1 up in the last sale for about 60 bucks, it’s mind boggling. 100 bucks in a sale, would be such a great price with better lume. So many Paganis would be tbh. Back to this V2 though, I really appreciate that they used a new case and not only used the 1661 case for example. Thanks for the review! I’ll enjoy my PD 1733 in the meantime!
The PD-1727. See link below to my review of the white dial version. This is the best version. Regards, #WR4K ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Btt5mRFpgAA.html
Yes, see link below to my SOTC video where I discuss mine. See the video at 21 minutes 20 seconds. Regards, #WR4K ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-otcxHozlw7g.html
I have the v1, bracelet is terrible, i use the nato strap that comes with it, for the price, you can never get this quality watch with NH35, this is beyond fantastic, if it came with a good bracelet, i would sit down and cry out of joy
I got the Milgaus Homage and the bracelet is terrible. Know you have to review the watch in front of you, but that says absoluteiy nothing when the QC on bracelet to bracelet isn't up to snuff. You might get a great bracelet but that says nothing to what we will, get. Loose clasp pins making the bracelet clasps movement from side to side seem cheap and fragile, sheared screws that you cannot get out, rattling. If you try to adjust the size of the bracelet in the dimples, in the clasp, it is nye in impossible, and the pin can go flying across the room or easily break. Something else to consider is buying a new 16mm pin isn't as easy as you think (particularly if you lose it) as it has to be precisely the same thickness as the old one, as the easy link extension (which clicks into it) won't ever snap onto it again, and will always be deployed.
Thank you for the presentation of this anticipated timepiece. If I can provide a constructive suggestion, could you possibly use a plastic pointer when referring to elements of the pieces, or when discussing minute features? Your hands are on the larger side, as you systematically mention. Therefore the frequent tapping of your thumb, in such limited depth of field, can be quite distracting in my opinion. It could impact on the enjoyement of your exhaustive presentations. Have a great weekend!
