I bought one without the ghastly P-T Time and it seems to have a lovely strap. I thing that the bezel is made of plastic though as mine has cracked slightly. I am the only person who gets close enough to notice this though. I can't complain at all really. It's a classy looking watch and delivers the impact that I want it to.
Ordered one. Love the nice, large numbers like the explorer. So glad they removed the Pagani text! Yep should've let off 'pt time' as well, but not a deal-breaker. Easily the best explorer homage for the price.
Such an excellent review. Love the layout of the dial and the overall styling of this watch. Thinking of pulling the trigger on this homage watch on Monday with the AliExpress sale. Thanks so much.
Thank you for doing what you do. No fuss, unbiased, transparent, very keen to details, highly knowledgeable, and genuine. Appreciate that you showcase what's frowned upon by them "real enthusiasts". I will definitely purchase some PDs soon.
I recently received the version 2 of the black dial explorer without the terrible pt time on the dial. Simply the best quality watch from Pagani Design. Even the bracelet is a lot better. The a.r. coating excellent as well. I hope Pagani continues this quality path. Thank you for your successful suggestions to Pagani Design. Regards.
Thank you for watching Sotirios. Congratulations. Excellent choice. Wear yours in good health. I am glad they deleted "PT Time" from the black version. Regards, #WR4K
Thank you for watching Keefs. Glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the suggestions. I have emailed Sugess requesting pieces for review. Unfortunately they said no. Regards, #WR4K.
Really pleased with this watch but there doesn't appear to be any micro-adjustment on the strap (unless I'm missing something)? I simply just can't get the optimal fit so I'm having to wear it too tight. Very frustrating.
I pre-ordered Stainhart Explorer homage 39mm which has SW200 Elabore Movement. I am not sure if I should cancel that order and get this one instead...😅
I'm so torn between date complication and no date complication. I love the look of the no date complication, but I rely on date complication more than I would like to admit. Thank you for this review, please keep up your good work. Your videos are very informative.

Had it for a few days. I like it. Really good movement, solid build quality, even swapped the clasp for a better glidelock. I noticed cronos released one. What’s Your thoughts?
Thank you for watching Mike. Congratulations. Excellent choice. Wear yours in good health. I will be reviewing the blue version of the L6016 soon. Regards, #WR4K
I would love to see this watch make by San Martín. I do not like the domed mirror that San Martín is using in the 39mm version. I want to buy this watch with flat mirror, pt5000 and superluminova.
I don't know which PD to get first. Any thoughts on what to get next based on this lineup? Seiko SKX007, Seiko SNKL23, Orient Mako 2, Laco Aachen, Baltic Aquascaphe, Sandoz vintage sub, Casio AE1200, Casio Duro MDV106-1AV. Looking to go for 36-40mm. Thank you very much.
Thank you for watching. I have a policy of not commenting on watches I haven't handled. Of your list I have done the; Mako, and Duro. I haven't done the SKX007, but have done the SKX009 (I previously owned the SKX007). Based on your list, and 36-40mm; I suggest the PD-1661 which is 40mm. Regards, #WR4K
Personally, I don't care about "P.t time". In fact, I prefer it to a blank spot. If the dial is too sterile, it looks naff. But something other than "P.t time" might be better.
I'm not sure the crystal and case back really have to withstand 200mtrs of pressure. A 100mtr watch is basically only good for swimming and certainly couldn't resist water ingress on a dive to 100mtrs.
Thank you for watching. You are mistaken. The PD-1692 is rated to 200 metres water resistance. Therefore every part needs to be able to withstand 200 metres of pressure; case back, crystal, crown, case. "A 100mtr watch is basically only good for swimming and certainly couldn't resist water ingress on a dive to 100mtrs." A 100 metre rated watch is suitable for diving as it can withstand 100 metres of pressure. The 100 metres doesn't refer to 100 metres depth, it refers to 100 metres (10 bar) of pressure. Regards, #WR4K
@@watchreviews4k Dear Sir, at some point, I believe your viewers would be well served by an explanation of the not insignificant differences between the two concepts (presuming you haven't already), as time and workload allow. As always, your reviews represent outstanding value(s).😎
@@watchreviews4k There are numerous articles on the internet that explain that the WR of a watch is a static water pressure. Swimming, snorking etc even at the surface introduce higher dynamic pressures on the watch seals. At depth these forces are greatly magnified. It is commonly accepted that a WR of 100mtrs is good for surface swimming only. The chances of a WR 100mtr watch surviving even a 10mtr dive is very low, unless you perhaps stayed very still. Correspondingly, this 200mtr watch wont get anywhere near a 200mtr depth dive. Another factor to consider is this is a Chinese homage, and as we all know to the chinese these printed ratings are just dial decoration. Having said that, I like this watch and may buy one but I wont be swimming in it.
@@bikeman123 there are videos on youtube that you can easily look up and watch that show these watches and others passing and failing pressure (simulated depth test) tests. If your that concerned spend the extra money on an actual rolex, or buy a gshock and be done with it. I can't speak to this specific watch, but I have seen videos of other pagani design watches that passed a depth test of there rated water resistance depth with flying colors.
Bracelet is junk. The micro adjust is far too stiff and the spring bar adjust almost impossible to move. You will scratch the bracelet trying to adjust it. Absolute rubbish and surprised you didn't say this.
Thank you for watching. See my Strapsco Gridlock clasp review below as an alternative. Regards, #WR4K ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dqGu97pXjUw.html
