The first time I heard Kashmir I was instantly hooked ! That rhythm and the flow of it I listen to it over and over again my very favorite Led Zeppelin song and my number one band of all times🙏💝
THIS IS THE "BEST" BAND EVER!! THEY ARE ALL SO TALENTED. AND ROBERT'S VOICE IS "ALWAYS" TO PERFECTION!!! BEST BAND, EVER!!!! THEY ARE TRUE LEGENDS!!!!!
@Sam Bell you have excellent taste…Kashmir has been my favorite since it came out in 1975….proud Zeppelin superfan since they first exploded onto the scene!!!! I still listen to them everyday and Robert….. I have followed his entire solo career….Zeppelin quite simply shattered the bar ….cheers!!!
I was there! Lined up at 4am sick as a dog but it was worth it. Ended up front row right in front of Robert. I'll never forget the eye contact and the smile. Good times.😊
@@kaylynn36 Yes I was but it was quite the fight getting there! Camping out all night then running like wild horses to the stage once they opened the doors.😁I was so sick I had to stop midway but luckily my hubby and friend ran on and saved my spot. Oh the things we do for love...😂
when theirs a storm of a great magnitude the traveller come and take the reighns of tars fill the skies of the desert night... and they will... will carry you through so be it.... hit base...... the journey is nearly oVEr.... but wait a minute... wait.. wait a minute................. oh baby m. oh baby..... oh... baby... Ade
Robert Plant and Jimmy Page will always be rock legends! Absolutely amazing! Best live version of Kashmir! Loved the mighty Led Zeppelin since I was a little girl! #ZeppelinRocked
@@jayannakelley9051 RIP Michael Lee 2008. When they played that one show in 2007 with John Paul Jones and Jason I think they should have used Michael Lee. He was still alive at the time. I understand why they used Jason as the son of Botham. But Michael was the best fit for that band. But nobody can really replace Botham. But Michael really connected with Page and Plant. Glad I saw them in 95.
@@HiPlains1 - I actually thought that same thing when played their last time together! Like you, I understood why Jason drummed that night but I sure was secretly missing Michael 🥁🎶 So glad to know I wasn’t the only one!! I always felt sad they lost another drummer that fit them 🙌🏻 RIP Michael..you were deeply appreciated & enjoyed. Have a wonderful rest of the week ✌️
I had never heard of him and I was wondering who that was on the drums! Led Zeppelin didn't sound the same after the death of their drummer John Bonham! He was a BEAST on the drums and I think he was the best if not one of the best drummers of all time!
@@jasonali4122 you my friend, are a true fan and listener. it was definitely a transic and spiritual experience and i was definitely taken away and truly appreciate the talent of michael lee, but if dave grohl wasn't so young to the scene at the time, they would've had a super aerodynamic sound here a la bonzo.
if world leaders were smart and wanted to really end wars all they would have to do is convince Page, Plant, Jones and Jason to go to the war zone and put on a concert. Thats how powerful Zeppelin’s music is. I think everyone would stop killing each other and just listen to the best music ever made
Led zeppelin lives on I'm so grateful to also have grown up on the best music!! Concerts & more this music is like none else you can't touch this!! The good ole days. So many more great heros of rock & roll!! I'll remember always I'm still kick on these tunez... Music to live by express feelings never want it to end ty all who made my childhood teen years and adult now to have experience this. Music
Kashmir and Stairway... Amongst THE BEST masterpieces to listen to and TOTALLY ENJOY, while STONED, before Couch Lock sets in🎉😂. I've listened to these songs for the last 40+ years and I'M STILL NOT SICK of any of them. 50 years from now, THIS GENRE WILL STILL be relevant.... At 100 + YEARS OLD!
I WAS AT THIS VERY PERFORMANCE AT THE UNO LAKEFRONT ARENA!!! THIS WAS THE SECOND OF TWO CONCERTS THEY GAVE IN NEW ORLEANS. THE FIRST ONE SOLD OUT SO DAMN FAST, THEY QUICKLY BOOKED THE SECOND CONCERT AND SOLD THE SECOND ONE OUT EQUALLY AS FAST. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET TICKETS FOR THE SECOND ONE.
Same here. The first show sold out in less than two hours. We were on the phone with ticket master trying for an hour when they sold out. When they announced adding a second night we slept out in front of the ticket master office in a parking lot. Good times!!!
Robert' s voice like an arabic singer. He is a genius and they are kings with Jimmy Page!!!!! Their music is the higest quality, soooooo wonderful:))) This idea with this musicians is the greatest idea!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! And Page is my favorite guitar player:)
yes our generation live in some of the greatest music made and thank who ever all 5 of my daughters took them as well, we all still rock and my last ride will be one hell of ride thanks to them, how did the soul of music lose it's way through the years and they think this is old hell i am not old 20th anv. of my 39th birthday long may we rock
I've been waiting for this fantastic Kashmir! it's #1 THE VERY BEST of this deep profound Magical journey on Earth with the VERY BEST OF ROBERT PLANT+ LED ZEPPELIN. I cherish that Record Album.
Kashmir best defines Page and Plant then and now.....The depth of their ability cannot be measured.....their sound can never be reproduced.....perfection is impossible but this comes close.....credit the Drummer Michael Lee with moving this to the edge of perfection.....
THE Jimmy Page! Getting it from the early 60s and still Getting It Nov 2023!! Robert & his singing from the 60s through today still gives me goosebumps! Led Zeppelin was the whole package but I love Jimmy & Robert together. True Legends!!
My band in ASPEN ! We loved covering classics I was lead singer. We had almost as much fun at rehearsal as playing live. Led Zeps ROCK AND ROLL was pure JOY! 3steps too! 1980
When my phone gets a message its Kashmir. Brilliant. Been listening to this song longer than 80 plus percent of You tubers have been alive. Masterpiece and flawless.
Honored to say I was there. Truly a dream come true considering I was 5 when Bonham died and couldn't have imagined I would ever get the opportunity to see this incredible show!
