"That little muscle not gonna push 600ft." I just realized that I'm only using my arm. Thanks Paige.

Another key quote: "You gotta get worse to get better." ~Paige Pierce Update: Also, Paige's way of describing pushing your hip, elbow, and shoulder (the whole front side, really) towards the target just gave me another 40' of distance - literally within a few minutes of trying it out on the field. My average long drive has usually maxed out around 320' but by concentrating on what Paige said I hit 360' yesterday without any extra arm effort, in fact it almost felt like I didn't throw as hard. I feel like I'm finally starting to get my arm out of the way! The way Paige put it made it clear to me in a way that other clinic vids haven't. This has got to be the easiest way to think about getting the big muscles to do most of the work while letting the arm be a whip. Looking forward to more of your vids, Kid!

"You gotta get worse to get better" - The biggest advice for me in a long time. I´ve been struggling with that so much but it gives me confidence when some1 actually says that it is part of getting better :D

yeah this one stuck out. It's like that in many things. ie swimming. you focus on the new thing but what you worked on before goes out the window until you can put it all together.

Teaching others always helps clarify our own technique. I also love the concept at 3:50 When it all comes together try to mimic what that felt like. You may not know everything to did you make it work, but if you can repeat the way that body movement felt you'll get there really quickly.

I like the informal / one-on-one lesson format of these tips over a clinic format most of the videos from pros on RU-vid are, kudos to you and Paige for this video. 4:38 the tip on keeping foot, hip, and elbow traveling directly to the target seems so simple yet something I’ve been overlooking and need to work on

You outdid yourself with this vid. Shared it my brother and he said it was the best lesson he has seen. He's convinced he mostly does arm movement only and is why he is stuck at 200 feet. Neat that you were able to get Paige to do this.

Great video! I found Paige’s tips on pushing with your elbow, hip and shoulder to be a very helpful way of thinking about the throw. Also, I realised that I need to work on being more explosive in my weight transfer!

I started this "hobby" (addiction) in July. I've watched lots of videos to improve. This helped congeal sooo much. Definitely added distance and helped me find the power pocket. Thanks!!

Spin and Throw by Bradley Walker breaks down Paige's form really well. Sometimes what players feel is much different than the actual mechanics that are happening, and it's good to have both the player's perspective, and a third-party analytical perspective to pull everything together.

I throw around 400 with bad form too. But it doesn't mean we are so g it correctly. PP has pretty perfect form. If you can manage to replicate her form you will surely add distance. But like she said. You will lose distance changing things up before you figure it out

Not hamstring, quadriceps is the big muscle muscle that pushes forward and the gluteus-maximus, or butt.

Jack Cade I mean I noticed she said the wrong muscle, but it’s PAIGE PIERCE so I’m not correcting here 😂

Big muscles dont equal long distance. A perfect example is the crush boys. Lizotte and Eagle. Distance comes from proper form then adding speed to the equation

@@gregmaddux7970 I find having a personality goes further than big muscles. I agree being healthy is important but if you're doing it to get girls I'd say good luck.

@@gregmaddux7970 I do construction for a living and wouldn't consider myself weak. And if valuing personality over appearance makes me a keyboard warrior then I guess I'm guilty. Honestly though I dont value your opinion because you sound like a meathead with low IQ.
