Pain Free Birth IS Possible! 

I'm a single guy. I found that interesting. It helps me to appreciate and understand pregnancies.

I prayed for God to make my 3rd birth pain free. I prayed in tongues and everything. I believed it would be pain free and was convinced. I had heard other's stories and expected it to be like the stories. My first birth was not too bad and no meds. I pushed when I knew to push. Second was worse and I tore with her. Third like I said convinced no pain. IT WAS THE MOST TRAUMATIC THING I HAVE EVER FELT IN MY LIFE!! His head got stuck and my back hurt so bad!! I all but cried. I thought I would stop breathing!! I pushed and pushed until that last push I just wanted to get him out before I died to give him a chance to live. I really am not convinced the Bible even supports pain free birth.

I had a free birth with my second and had a breached baby! I labored for 5 hours in my home with just my husband and 1 year old daughter present, It was so beautiful and peaceful. If God blesses us with more children I’d love to experience free birth again.

I loved Karen’s course. It was so worth the investment. Knowing what was going on in my body during my labor was such a game changer. Also, inviting the Lord out loud into my labor instead of just praying in my head, made an unquestionable difference. ❤️

I bought Karen's course and read all the books she recommended and unfortunately it didn't work for me, birth was painful. I do however know that it does work for many women so I am not agains it and still would tell people to try it. I tried everything she said, I believed, had faith, when people said I was crazy I didn't believe them, every time someone said birth was painful I said to myself that's your story that sucks for you but it's not for me. I mediated on the verses I practised the positions and breathing etc... I really set my hopes too high and and my relationship with God was strained because of it. It broke me because after my birth I thought God made other womens births pain free but why not me? what did I do wrong? what's wrong with me? I believed in faith that it would happen and it didn't. I honestly never have believed something so strongly in my life, I had Godly people pray for it for me too. Afterwards, it made me question Him and I shouldn't have it was obviously not Him, I was so hormonal and emotional after birth that failing to have the painfree birth I'd prayed for really messed with my mind and made me feel so devestated. I think it's best to go in with the thinking I hope it works for me but if it doesn't I'm going to be ok with it rather than I believe it will be painfree and have no other options in your mind because if it doesn't work it can be very painful and traumatic to come back from when you set your hopes so high for a painfree birth. I would say to women give it a go it might work for you but it might not and that's okay. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I was sick from morning till night for 9 months. The actual birth wasn’t as bad

I drove myself to the hospital and stopped and got food. Nobody believed I wasn’t in pain. ✌🏽❤️🙏🏻including the doctor 😅

Pregnant with our third son. Both of my other two sons I had a supernatural birth. Looking forward to hearing this podcast as I prep to meet our third son in the next few weeks.

Shalom sisters! I am 15 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby and first baby girl :) I am overly joyed to prepare for my unassisted home birth. I am so confident that I will bring this baby into the world with my husband by my side and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

Some may exerpetience limited discomfort others might expirience a lit regardless of what they do or don't do. Great idea to do as much ad you can to limit pain. But anyone out there who has experienced pain it's not because you didn't do enough ! And if your a christian and believe there should be no discomfort at all then that's not biblical the bible specifically say this.

Going to be giving birth to #2 soon It’s going to be supernatural, God is so good🙏

What about sickness in first trimester?

This was so amazing! Thank you so much. I can see exactly where things went wrong in my last birth (Praise God for a healthy baby and mama & a no interventions birth) but I know God has more for me! this gave me new hope and perspective and an excitement for the future 💕

I think there is some truth to this. But its important to stay realistic here. We still live in a fallen world...some Woman get so caught up in having a pain free birth that they start obsessing about it, spend tons of money and if it doesn't happen they blame themselves or God. I think It get can get dangerous to preach that all woman can have it. I think it's more healthy to be prepared for all kinds of things that could happen at birth and to be mentaly and spiritualy prepared.
