I love using a paint pot as my shadow so quick and simple. My go-to is soft ochre but I'll have to get this shade because it really makes your blue eyes pop! So pretty!!! I love this on you!

Nothing to do with this video but I'm so happy your daughter has you and your grandchildren have you. As a woman who along with her husband lost 3 parents before our child turned 4 and the only living one wants nothing to do with our son I hope you let your daughter read this so she can hug you and show her appreciation. You never know what you are missing until it's gone. Children NEED their grandparents. I'm so glad your daughter has you. PS that color is awesome for your eyes!

Looks beautiful! Ive been trying to do more one and done shadow looks with my current shadows. It sure saves a lot of time especially on days when your in a hurry or just not feeling it that day but still want to look pulled together...

Hi Melissa that is a great shade on you. I love using a cream shadow as a quick eye look and have a few different colours and formulations I use - depending on my outfit lol. I tend to use taupes, champagnes, muted light pink, light grey, lilac etc, as I'm very pale/cool toned. I usually pair it with a contrasting liner for a pop of colour, but it's a very quick Summer look indeed. I hope you have a great time with your grandchildren and don't worry about replying. That type of top actually makes your shoulders look better than the off-the-shoulder type. I recall you saying you wore off the shoulder due to narrow shoulders but I like this so much more.

You are applying it too much, the less is more. You can build it as per your desire, but your every layer should be thin and you have to stop blinking and have to give 30sec to dry. If you blink or if your lids are too oily and if your layer is too thick, than it start settle down into your fine line and product will end up creasing. Try this way, you gonna love it more than ever. And try applying it with your fingers.

Hi Melissa, back in the day MAC had a powder version of that color but I can't remember the name of it. I bought a Maybelline palette that had 5 shadows in it and one was a dupe for MAC's shadow. The color also changes depending on how much you buff it out where it will become a beautiful brownish hue. It looks great on any eye color and the color shifts accordingly. I'll have to pull out my powder dupe and use it again. Thanks Melissa. BTW, your the best grandma and lots of fun I bet!

I think I might get it too!! I wear Painterly as my eyeshadow primer every single day and I like the consistency of the Mac paint pots. I think I will add a cream/vanilla shade on the top edge to blend it out. Melissa would look good using dirt as her eyeshadow though LOL. She rock’s everything ♥️

This color has been on my wish list for quite a while and here I am looking at it again. It looks gorgeous on you. You know how sometimes with cream shadows its hard to get eyeliner over the top of it? Well Ive been wondering about this and one reason I havent purchased it yet. I forget to ask in the dozens of times I come to this video so today I hope you see my comment. LOL! I like to put gel eyeliner right over the top of my lash line on top and sometimes I notice it wont go on over cream shadows...😢

Hello Melissa. I am 55 and i want to start the Obagi newderm system with tretinoin at the end of the summer season. To refresh my skin. For how long should i do it. In one of your videos i think you say for 3 months. Is that so? Waiting for your reply. Love from Greece.

I do the full obagi system for three months then I go to a maintenance program. But I do always say to check in with a doctor or a med spa type thing to see what they recommend. The obagi system is so strong and so is Retin-A, so be careful. What I did was start on Retin-A only, before the obagi. I was on retin a for several years before I ever added anything to it. And it could be that the Retin-A will be enough for you right now to make your skin the way you want it to be. Anyway just go slowly and be cautious. And thank you. 🌻🌻🌻

I do think it would be gorgeous. The burgundy in it would look really good I think!

So Melissa, I went to Alta and I found bougie. I tried it on my eyelid, but I just felt like it darkened my whole orbital area. For me I need to brighten up the orbital area so I declined on purchasing it. It is beautiful however. Thank you for all the lovely comments. Yes we are most hardest on ourselves. But you look spectacular, amazing, useful, energetic, fun, and very sophisticatedly humble. Thank you

Hi. Ended up buying the Milani cream to powder makeup an a blush. Had bought Laura Mercier flawless foundation, but didn't think much of it.......I know this was last week's video but decide to get until now. Thanks to YOU I've been buying numerous eye shadows.

Melissa, that is a nice shade, but honestly, you could put on anything and look good. So freshly scrubbed and pretty! I've always dreamed of having blue eyes; I love them. Alas, I'm a brown-eyed gal.
