Muchas gracias, Josep :) La imprimación viene lista para aplicar con el aerógrafo. La pintura se puede desconchar casi inmediatamente después de aplicada, ya que siendo acrílica se seca muy rápido. Además de esto, el líquido para desconchones pierde su efectividad luego de unas pocas horas, así que es mejor desconchar la pintura lo antes posible. Saludos desde Bucaramanga, Colombia :)
Hola buenas, llevo relativamente poco en el canal pero me fascina lo que haces. Acabo de conseguir mi primer aerógrafo, e intentando poder usar los colores de Vallejo que ya tenía de antes, me he comprado imprimación de Vallejo para aerógrafo, como la que usabas en vídeos anteriores como el stug 4. No me funciona, mi aerógrafo no es capaz de echarlo. ¿Que presión usas? ¿Diluyes con algún disolvente? ¿Que diámetro de obturador usas? Muchísimas gracias
Hola. Te cuento que nunca he usado el Imprimante de Vallejo. Normalmente trabajo con presión entre 15 y 25psi. El único disolvente que he usado es agua destilada y solamente para las pinturas de Vallejo. Mi aerógrafo es el Iwata Eclipse HP-CS y uso la aguja que viene incluída (0.35mm)

Con Vallejo Model Color empiezo con una proporción 1:1 y luego ajusto un poco según el caso. Las pinturas de AMMO no necesitan disolvente. Hace un par de años que no uso Tamiya, pero solía usar alcohol isopropilico, creo que también en proporción 1:1

If you work with AMMO's chipping fluid it's better to work on smaller areas or shorter sessions, because it evaporates faster than the hairspray (the one I used with the T-54)

Nice model.......but.....how can this tank have heavy weathering...? By the time these tanks left the factory, the war was over. They never had the time to rust a lot........... Dirt and damage....Yes. Plenty of pictures to prove that. But lots of rust..? No. I don't think so. In those days, German steel was top quality and so was the paint.

Yup, I have a 'cordyline' plant in my garden that has long spearlike leaves that dry out very tough. I can take a 12" long piece and rub it between my hands and break it into dozens of long, fine fibres. I just tease them out and cut to whatever length suits the scale. You get a lot of natural variation too, from straw-yellow to mid-browns.
Watch your videos over and over again. Can you remember paint/thinner ratio and pressure? Can't reach that level of smooth with ammo, but like colors and no smell.
Great video and painting and weathering, you said you had a new headset ,who was the maker ?, my dog is the wrong colour so i must go to the dog park and show some affection to the right coloured dog ha ha.
I dont see any Varnish :s How do you keep the paint from being removed when using washes, thinner etc? If i paint my model and weather the model i will soon see the primer if not varnish first :s

I know it's a sponsored video, but for you personally would you pick the specialist chipping fluid over hairspray, pros and cons of both? keep up the videos either way, they're great to watch

About the chipping fluid (at least in my case): Pros: - More realistic looking chips - Once it's fully dry you can work the next layer of paint without worrying about chipping the previous one. Cons: - It evaporates much faster, so you have less time to work once applied (but still plenty of time) - More expensive

Buen video como siempre!!! Una consulta: Yo los pinto con pincel y en mi último proyecto quiero usar imprimante negro en lugar de blanco. Crees que tenga que dar muchas pasadas con pincel y por tanto gastar mucho dinero para lograr un buen efecto?? Saludos desde México !!

Yes, you can. According to my experience, the chipping fluid gives better looking chips, but the hairspray gives you more time to work. With enough practice you can have great results with either of them

Quick question for you: do you seal the paint layers before applying more of the chipping fluid? Example: after you've chipped the intial dunk. color, did you seal it at all before applying the camo? Great vids!!!
No, I don't. The chipping fluid is only effective for a few hours. If you wait long enough, you don't need to seal the chipped layers. In any case, I suggest you to make tests beforehand. Thanks for watching!
Sorry - You put a layer of gloss, then you did your chipping - then you added another coat of gloss and you did additional weathering. Shouldn't you just add one coat of gloss and do all the weathering?
