trees greens and blues pinks and reds colors burst softly with lines and threads and standing trees beautiful and strong a trail to oblivion twisting and long awaits beneath a morning sun light dancing to and from calling softly in the breeze morning dew on sleeping leaves
That perfectly sharpened beard, that gumdrop smile, that passion for mashing a paint filled pallet knife into a canvass to achieve detail. You are an asset to humanity Rich, Gum those tree's and talk me to sleep. Luv Yah Bud.
Thank you so much for narrating each color that your use. It is so helpful. Also thank you for going long form, where you allow us to see you produce most/all the painting. Gorgeous countryside too
The colours are exemplary! And that linen canvas must be a dream to work with… The white is daunting, but the beige is inviting. Both a challenge, and you are winning either way. A stunner, thank you…
Australia is certainly an outstandingly beautiful country. However, when you paint its scenes, your paintings show a slightly different image, but always, always your depictions are breathtaking!! Thank you for this video, Richard.
U show us how deep ur vision breaks down the light & shadow. By doing so, u teach/inspire people to look closer at the sun sets & sun rises, other beautiful moments of contrast they already appreciate. Now they can find even more color.
Wow. That is amazing. I don't know how you do that. I mean when you put the close-up camera to it, it just blows my mind how perfect it is and so many beautiful colors that blend perfectly. This is a gorgeous painting. You are my favorite artist. I learn so much from your videos and love how you explain everything about the composition. Simply perfect. 5 stars.
My favourite Auzi artist!🎉 I learn something from you with every new painting, Richard! Especially about colour and palette knife work, even though you work in Oils and I work with Acrylic paint. I can't do the smell of thinners.
I love your confidence and ability to just go for it. I also appreciate that you talk about your different color mixes, and my skies have really improved since watching your videos. The skill that you have with your palette knife is truly amazing. Thank you for sharing your talents!
Beautiful work Richard, I always enjoy your large works, but the essence of the Australian bush is what grabs me most and you have projected it so well here in this work. Love it.
hey Richard, i just stumbled across your videos and i'm blown out of the water. this is the approach i was looking for. when i paint i'm always limiting myself, trying to be perfect. watching you paint is inspiring and so much fun 😅
I usually draw hyperrealism with graphite on paper, but when I paint I always felt a bit at a loss to just let go. I decided to try a bit your technique and use the biggest pallet knife or the biggest brush I have to put in the first layers, and voila! My hyperrealistic and even realistic brain shuts off and lets me just have fun. Really great work you do. Thank you for sharing your fantastic work and techniques with the world.
What a beauty. Always seem to learn something every time you do a piece. Wonderful harmony on this Richard. It's just a stunning piece. Thank you for sharing so much with us. Very much appreciated.
Lovely colors so much fun to watch you paint. My favourite is when I see water the way the paint colors meld together. The gum trees are interesting with the different colors and textures.
Hello Richard, fantastic painting!!! Good capture of the background light and those trees in the foreground give volume and depth to the landscape. Congratulations!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Me gusta su obra es fresca ,el trabaja el colorido con la espátula es fabuloso su interpretación del paisaje , felicidades sr.Richard . Muchas grácias por poder disfrutar de su talento !!
That was brilliant. A really great lesson in mixing and draughting. its really interesting watching how an abstract painting comes together. But now you put in those fine details so it can be seen a little easier when viewed from a closer distance. Is this a result of a changing art scene and what people now want or are you trying something a little new? Regardless a really great painting. Thanks again, Bill-NZ
Hello Richard. Wow what a superb painting with this mist accumulated at the bottom of the valley, a beautiful composition and great colors. I love the pinkish color of the path and the light in the foreground and the pinkish gray color of the shadow on the right of the painting. The depth of the scene is also superbly rendered with this tree in the sunlight in the 2nd plan and in the distance the more ocher color. Indeed a very sweet painting. Well done 👏👏🙂
G'day mate, another visual treat to delight the eye. Those pinks really dance Richard, I always think magenta is a magical, versatile colour. This is an uplifting painting, a masterclass in tonal values. Enjoyed this one very much, cheers Rich
Awesome! Very stunning! Those colors, and the design came together in a wonderful way. I think you captured the light just right! Seems there was a little bit of excitment with those winds you were having!
This could be your Best yet Richard, Wow! And the B-roll footage, heavenly. To be honest I thought you might have bitten off too much with the composition at the beginning, but that thought quickly disappeared when it came together so well, so quickly (by using your biggest difference technique - thank you btw 🙏🏼 and I sold my first oil the other day with some knife work so thank you for some wonderful inspiration over the recent years)🙏🏼🙏🏼. And with your splashes of complimentary colour and wonderfully constructed feeling of 3d space - it quickly turned into something Very special. Spectacular!
Hey Richard Master, You are also a Sunset Painter, like the Hungarian Csontváry-Kosztka Tivadar. He painted cedars. I really like the way you handle colors! Wonderful!😍🥰😘🧡💛💚💙💜💕🤎
Brilliant painting and demo Richard, I shall certainly pinch a couple of tips from you although my painting style already echoes your loose but expressive style.
Spectacular painting and terrific video. I noticed at the 47:50 mark, there appears to be a pinkish building between the two large trees on the right center of the painting, but it's gone at the 47:49 mark. Did you change your mind about it and paint over it?
