Hi sweetie 💟 I am with you so much 💕 I too began painting out of debilitation and chronic pain. It's been a hard road but I have discovered some of the causes and I am seeing new doctors this month. I'm really ready for the adaptations I have to make, even living a SUV LIFE! I'M FREE from the percieved expectations of others, to look after my health and that FIRST, and I paint, play music and post to an ever growing facebook following. My spirituality has had to develop with the compromise of my body and the ways of thinking that have taken such hard hits in recent years. I trust the Universe 💯🙏 and I am happier than I have ever been. The weight of the world is coming off my shoulders 😂 and I can just Be. Thanks for a beautiful painting demo 👍 Flowers are amongst my favorite things to paint 🎨
Well, that turned out very nicely, Sharon. Great use of the wet-in-wet to get the subtle colours in the blooms - which definitely seem to have a glow to them. Thanks for sharing this one with us all - especially so in view of the health issues you're struggling with at the moment. I hope the MRI scan results show that whatever is causing the problems can be fixed, and that there is a path to getting you back to a more pain-free normal in the near future. Best wishes, Brian.
Boy from your lips to God’s ears! And ho-evilly no need for surgery. I do not want low back surgery. I’m scared to death. I ended up with PTSD from the neck surgery and the thought of even being hospitalized freaks me out and sends me into a panic attack. But I can deal with one day at a time. I find out this week what’s going on.
Hahaha, well thank you, and thank you for the prayers. I was watching a young woman going through stage 4 lung cancer and opened her video (it was her birthday) and she said “well.... I made it to 24!” I will never complain about my age. Ever!
Good to see you Sharon. Spring is so all over the place with warmth then cold and rainy. I find it's a bad season for pain flare ups. Just so much weather swinging. Take care God Bless. Nice painting. I may try it. Though I don't do many flowers.💜
Thinking you are 50 is a good thing! 😁 I would settle for 60 again. I got bored during covid and colored my hair. That helped. It's also long enough for pony tails now. Reliving my youth! LOL. I love the way you laugh and keep smiling through everything. Those smiles are definitely contagious! 🤣😂😁
Sharon I turned 74 on 5 -3-21 so since I am only 47 now you are just a youngster. lol Am praying for relief from your difficulties and I believe in your healing. A beautiful painting as usual.
Oh well I still have a few months until my 60th so if I go by 59 then I’m 95 which feels about right, but if I act like a kid and jump myself to 60 then I’m 06! I think 6 was a good year!
What a beautiful magnolia painting! I have a white southern magnolia tree and it makes me so happy to watch it bloom out my kitchen window. You’re purple magnolia will be awesome. The Hallow app sounds wonderful and I will check it out. 💜🙏
Great. If you want to try premium which gets you much more than the basic, use my code so you get the three months free.mother wise you’ll only get 14 days..
Another comment 😃 LOL 😜 I have quin magenta in my replacement set of my favorite Watercolors, Mission Gold. DaVinci are my other faves and I am getting the set of Kuretaki Gansai Tambi 48 next time to finish my collection. I'm a nomad and I have to be absolutely minimalist, but you know how it is with paint. I'll be reserving the right to rebuy DS in the colors and special textures I desire but I won't hoard art supplies again 🥰. I bought a Beautiful set of colored pencils and pastels for the paintings and a set of Microns is on the slate. Ok 👌😊 I think I am done now 😆
@@SharonCullenArt it's a set I'm replacing. Some of the colors are quite opaque, and no I don't mind,, I use M Graham Tit White gouache mixed with Mission Gold watercolor. I even just recall now that I have some 16 Cotman tubes that I could use up as gouaches...if it has gouache in it, it's gouache, lol. Kuretaki launched the 48 set two years ago and I am not sure how soon, but I love them for the consistancy, they are just fun to handle. My tastes in Watercolor are understood better by mm painters. I use all my media together to paint, even the pencil and pastel toppers I call them. Whatever the painting asks for 😜
I Hope you have one of those dustbins with a long stick on that when you got that tree. My mom inlaw her neighbours had one and she could go banana's on the flower leaves falling in the koi pond leaving one big mess and clogging the filters. She hated that pond but loved the tree. The pond is gone. Tree stayed :P just beware of the mess it can give, specially given your medical condition. Have some decent ajustable rollerbins so you wont have to hurt your back or ask for help. You can get those at basicly any healthcare store, I have mine from town hall but I don't know if usa does supply that.
Yeah I know they are messy and the petals can wreak havoc on grass growing or lack of it. But shh don’t tell my husband! 🤫 We will just have to rake in the spring.
Creamy white hutch? Area you talking about my art studio? I have a white hutch there. I have a studio tour if you want to go look at it. It is old and there have been changes but you’ll see most of it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CbzkkfGS9Rs.html
