Wow amazing work! I’m super late to this post but I wanted to sincerely thank you for the amazing tips as I’m in the process of customizing 1/6 scale horse to match the one seen in the walking dead first season. I’m pairing him of course with a 1/6 Rick Grimes figure, both of which will be in my Atlanta diorama. I’m at a loss for making the hooves realistic and I stumbled on this. Thank you!
Marney Mcgovern you have to keep the dried paint off the needle to get that kind of detail so you have to keep cleaning it off. Thank you for the comment and for watching!
Golden Buckskin An Iwata HP-C is a great starter airbrush and one that I use daily. For compressors just make sure you get one with a tank, regulator and moisture trap. My first was a pancake compressor from Sears. Loud but inexpensive and useful.
