Painting Rough Water in Watercolor 

The little trick with the string was so helpful, not just for this painting, but to my whole understanding of perspective drawing. Thank you!

I'm trying to paint a picture of my parents sailing their boat on Lake Michigan. Sail boat, not a problem. Water has been the trickiest part of this project. Again, thank you so much. Hi! I'd like to know what colors did you use , cause I don't undesrtand the kind of yellow you used . And for the dark touches did you use the seme color or you add some other pigment to make a darker green? thank for your tutorials and demos that are very well done!!
