Painting this apartment CHANGED EVERYTHING | NYC Apartment Tour - Upper East Side 

I find it interesting that some regard painting over original dark wood to be vandalism. It's my home now and I'll paint it whatever I want.

I would have certainly pulled out the carpets and painted the crown and baseboards, but I probably would have left the doors and door jambs alone.

This is exactly what I want but smaller (2 bedrooms is ideal) and in the West Village
