Hey Shaun- your good at the whittling and carving stuff. Ive got some knives for carving and have done a couple things, but trying to hand carve a handle on my solid white oak walking stick proved to be quite a challenge the other year. Ive also cut off quite a few small round branches off our Mimosa tree and others a few months back, so I can try and see how the wood carves this next summer. Thanks for the video- be safe out there-
Thanks buddy, those hardwoods are tough to carve for sure! Seasoned wood is too. Mimosa is a nice wood though, I should gather some and try to carve it. I've got a bunch around my place!
