Louise, you are such a refreshingly wonderful teacher. So glad you took time out for your family Louise, always so important and becoming rarer as they grow up and go on with their own lives..everyone becomes busy busy busy..I just about have to make an appointment 6 months ahead to get a free weekend with mine 🤭🤭 thanks for this tutorial. I tried water recently but used acrylic...must say the soft flow of watercolour looks alot easier. But then you make everything look easy...I love it when you say " it only took a couple of hours" Im still fiddling weeks later....big thankyou and great effort👍🥰

Every artist portrays water in such a variety of techniques. Love yours! I try painting water as often as possible and see improvement, but not complete satisfaction. You have inspired me to not give up and be a bit braver and relaxed. Living walking distance to a lake and using your inspirational painting, I am planning on some plein air watercoloring very soon.
