I actually own a set of these speakers the mid-range is very present in these speakers... you need a good equalizer to pull some of the mids out of these speakers cuz they can become a little harsh to the ears.. but overall these are very Dynamic speakers great-sounding...
yeah same cones as the 12" altec 417 Randy Rhoads used and other musicians ..i have a pair of these in EV Cabs.. Great Speakers! and sound as good as the D130 with more ump to the bass - id use these over any reconed jbl
