Hi, not sure if I get your question right...The EcoFlow dual fuel smart generator can be used as Delta Pro's extra battery or you can plug it into the charging input port of Delta Pro Ultra. This is how you integrate it with the new system. Let me know if this answers your question.

I'm curious about the grid/generator setup as well. It seems that the panel is more of a "traditional" transfer switch between grid and generator source, so "smart charging" would still have to take place without the panel and directly between the Delta Pro and the Smart Generator. With that in mind, when the panel interlock is switched to generator source, does the panel charge attached batteries?

So if we connect the Dual Fuel Generator to the Ultra (Ultra also connected to "Smart Panel 2"), and then plugged in some depleted Delta Pros into the "Smart Panel 2," it would charge the Delta Pros from the Ultra through the Smart Panel 2 (and toggle the Dual Fuel Generator on/off to charge up the Ultra as needed?). Meaning you could recharge the whole system of Ultra and Delta Pro batteries from one Dual Fuel Generator without having to move the Generator connection from the Ultra to the Delta Pro? Sorry for the vague question before, hope this is a bit more clear!

Hi, yes when you switch the interlock to generator source, it will also charge the batteries connected to the panel.

​@@TheLoneGingerShow the are no smart functions between DPU and the dual fuel generator, you're just using the AC charging port like any other generator. The only "smart" way would be to connect the generator over DC to the Delta Pros, you'd need 2 for full autonomy though.

However, it will only work as one way charging from the SHP 2 to the Delta Pro. For the second question, do you mean you want to charge you Delta Pro via the AC outlet of Delta Pro ultra?

Sorry, not for charging, can the Ultra be plugged into the Delta Pro 110 outlet to charge the Ultra from the Delta Pro? Just looking at any possibility to use the current Delta Pro and extra battery with the Ultra to provide more power to my home. @@EcoFlowTech

Yes, the AC output port of Delta Pro can be used to charge Delta Pro Ultra, however the charging efficiency is not high. The extra battery can not be connected directly to Delta Pro Ultra as there is no interface for it.

Hi there, yes both pro and ultra with smart home panel 2 can help you realize a plug-and-play home solar system with massive solar input and automatic switchover at power outage. And yes the smart home panel 2 is an off-grid system which means that it can not back feed to the grid.

Hi sorry, you can either choose to get powered from the grid and DPU/DP or from the generator. When you switch the interlock up, the power will come from the grid and batteries. For the moment, it is not supported to have several circuits powered from the grid and several from the batteries. Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi there, usually EMP Shield should be installed in a main panel yet SHP2 is a sub panel. When you use the whole SHP2 (distribution panel + battery connection box), it has Class A EMC.

Hi sorry I am not sure if you get your question right or not. The 50 amp hub is used to chain two Delta Pro Ultras together. For Delta Pro, it is recommended to use double voltage hub.

Hi there, just to clarify, smart home panel 2 has the automation feature of SHP1. SHP2 can support either fully grids charged or generator powered. This is based on the electrical switchboard design in the US.

Hi there, sorry for late reply, to answer your questions: 1. Solar panels can not be connected to SHP2 directly, they can only be blended into the system by plugging into your pros or ultras. 2. If you only connect two pros to SHP2, if one pro runs out of battery, it is not suggested to use the other pro to charge. If you connect one ultra along with a couple of pros to SHP2, when one pro runs out of battery, the other pro can still work to charge with the ultra.

Hi there, Delta Pro Ultra can not run wave 2 through the XT150 port. If you want to use the XT60 port on WAVE2, you will need an Anderson to XT60 adapter.

Hi there, yeah generally speaking both of them are power backup solutions. Power Kits are more suitable for off-grid cabins/RVs with 120V, 3600W output. Its capacity can go up to 15kWh. In comparison, the new ultra plus smart home panel 2 system is ideal for whole house backup with 120V/240V, massive power output and capacity. Also, smart home panel 2 has 12 circuits (6 more than Power Kits).
