Another demo video for your viewing pleasure from the RUDE Series. These cymbals were inspired by the revolution of punk and metal during the late 1970s. RUDE continues to be the leading choice of sound for raw, merciless and powerful musical energy in Rock, Metal, and Punk.

I've been playing RUDEs for decades, they are much more versatile than people think. 20" Wild China is insane, so raw and loud and it sounds awesome in the mix. My 18" Wild crash is always there to cut through when needed and my beloved 15" RUDE Sound Edge hi-hats will NEVER leave my kit. Excellent line of cymbals!

Hey dude Ive been playing an 18”zildjian A, rock crash and after cracking it I’m looking for a replacement. Any opinion on the difference between the 18” rude and the A rock crash? Thanks!

I am not very familiar with the A rock crash but I know the RUDE will be higher pitched and much louder and you'll need to hit it with more force to move it and open it up. It will cut through everything and basically no EQ is needed. Mount it on a slight angle and it will last forever.

I used to have a huge custom PEARL shell-set back in the 80s (14x14/18x18/26x18), resplendent in Arctic White. I had a full set of RUDEs on TAMA stands, including 15" hi-hats; 18" and 20" crashes; a 20" China and a 22" ride. The whole kit sounded like a monstrous beast, of course, and looked awesome as the white logos on the cymbals perfectly matched the white kit. Forty years later, and all of them broke ages ago except the 22" Ride/Crash - the first brand new cymbal I ever bought - which is still in its vintage 'blue with orange logo' cymbal bag. TBH, I think the bag is probably worth more than the cymbal, but to me that cymbal is priceless. It still has a little mark on the bell - like a star - which I always used to aim for when I wanted it to clang like a fire-engine!

I've just watched a video of Gary Husband playing and singing the praises of the Rude Hi Hats, I think he should add some Rude crashes to his set up- they are wild sounding and I think that would actually suit his sound as well as the more controlled, refined sound of the other series in his set up.

It sounds unusually dry in this video. Btw, i own Novo China and 20' Ride. Ride sounds best when u use sticks with wood heads, it still has that cutting "ping" but it is not too harsh. Novo China is simpy best damn china cymbal i even heard. Aslo have pair of 2002 crashes

Wouldn't it be great if drum sets had more than one mounted Tom? There's room for two. Maybe get two bass drums and there's room for four toms across the front. Maybe it would piss off Dave Grohl, the messiah of the schitty music era. Grunge.
