Today we drive a gnarly road from Ayun to the Kalash Valley to vist the villages of Rumbur and Grom, home to the indigenous Kalash people. While there we meet many of the locals including their shaman, tour the villages with the son of the mayor, learn about their ancient traditions and even imbibe in their home made booze called tara. It was truly an incredible once in a lifetime experience.
