This video left me with tears in my eyes.and a lump in my throat. I was born in Lahore in 1931 and was studying in the government college when I, like millions, had to abandon my homeland in 1947 due to the tragic Partition.n. Since then I had been longing to visit Lahore at least once before it is too late. But it has not been possible so far. But your video still keeps some hope alive. Many thanks and congratulations for the excellent work.

Even I also went to Lahore for a visit as I look some of my students to Achitisin college ....I went to the place where my grandpa use to live

My Grandfather graduated in Electrical and Mechanical engineering in 1935 from Lahore, I have his photo from Lahore studio

My Grandmother came from Kolkata to Chittagong Bangladesh in 1947. Now she is 87 years old still want to visit india where she born.

Mere dada g was also from lahore sheikhupura... And my great grand father was the wazir of the lahore district king... After partition he used to tell the stories and kisse of lahore❤ Love from India ❤

The friends i made during my studies abroad have mostly been from pakistan. I have never felt there was any hate or animosity between us... we are still in touch. We have always felt one day i future for the betterment of billions of people a reconciliation will be reached and people to people outreach will be more than ever.

Believe me you two this video has made me cry. My uncle got killed in 1965 war. He was just 25 and a bachelor. He killed many enemy soldiers. They had families too. Its the dirty politics that creates hatred else people on both sides want peace friendship and brotherhood. Situation right now is very tense on the borders as both armies are fighting each other and civilians are getting killed or fleeing from the border areas surrounding Kashmir. Lets hope this stops for good!

Hello Salam Walek um dear News views & updates. I have never visited Pakistan and this video moves me to the core. Wish we had more Mr Khannas on both sides of the border but sadly we have more voices of hatred and animosity. Gandhi ji once said an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind but Pakistanis who hate India and Indians who hate Pakistanis don't listen. Just pray for a day when Indians and Pakistanis live in peace. Someday this will happen. Its such a shame that after 70 years we are still enemies and not good neighbours! When North and South Korea can talk peace then why cant India and Pakistan.

This is how people across both the nations need to see each other. Blinded in hate by Media and Politicians, But whenever we meet We are no different from each other. Seeing pakistan through eyes of an Indian made me feel like visiting Pakistan I welcome pakistanis to visit India. Indians Don't hate pakistanis, And we don't expect our neighbors to hate us.

EYE WETTING VIDEO ... very emotional, heart touching. My grandparents migrated from village Dhang deo isharan near Rawalpindi islamabad. Grandpa worked in Sialkot. I wish , i could visit and see all that someday in my life. Last words by Khanna saab and by video anchors ... REUNION. Why not if possible. Rightly said, people who moved from both sides are still intact to their native places. Before partition, india was one big country from Iran in west upto afghanistan and china in north and Myanmar in East. Unfortunately, Division gave us numerous wounds in 1947 and unresolved issues till today. Still, people at both side have soft corner for each other. I met people from lahore in Trade fair, Delhi in their Pakistani stall, they spoke exactly same way as people in Amritsar speak. Not even a single deviation in accent. Like Mr. Khanna said .... Zuban ka Zuban se rishta hai. They were so warm at heart to talk to. Rightly said .... aadmi ki aadmi se nahi, sarkar ki sarkar se ladai hai. I wish, Good relations revive someday. At least, it should become a free travel zone like India Nepal, Bhutan and Schengen countries in Europe.

When i was in UK for my work from India . A pakistani girl i met who was a student in IT . She said as an IT professional U can work in India But we dont have any option . Wish there were IT companies in the places where in each bye lane isntead of a Mosque atleast we could have stayed with parents and worked to grow and make a career in Our Own country . She also said the same thing WISH PAKISTAN UNITES WITH INDIA AND IF NOT ME MY KID CAN WORK IN THE WORLDS BIGGEST MULTINATIONAL WITHOUT VISA AND STAYNG WITH US

I haven't seen my grand parents. But they spent their youth in Pakistan. My paternal grandfather had family in dumel, Punjab and maternal was from Peshawar, KPK. I feel attached psychologically with Pakistan. I have a desire to visit those streets and home to that place. I feel good listening saraiki, Pashto language. Some Pakistani dramas, food, people pull me towards Pak.

Islam has been a curse to humanity. So many people lost their homes and lives to this evil cult. 1) Jews in Arabia. 2) Zoroastrians in Persia. 3) Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh. 4) Pandits in Kashmir. Buddhists in Myanmar are wise, they have realized mistakes made by other people and decided to protect their country.

Hope for love and peace amidst the hatred and chaos of tensions on the border on both sides right now. Dadaji gave a brilliant answer people don't hate each other its only the govt of both nations that hate each other.

Any division inevitably creates conflict by it's own nature and the only solution is to remove the very source of the conflict viz. the partition. He spoke from his heart on his desire but it would take several decades, if not generations, to accept it.

My grandfather and his family also came from mirpur to India... He used to tell us so many things about his childhood and many of the times we saw tears in his eyes.. They left all their belongings there and struggled here for several years... He died while his sons were working hard to give him back the comfort which he ran from.. He died a happy person but yess i feel alot now if I remember all his words
