Amazing video! Palace has always been an under rated street wear brand, it now transcends Skateboarding to the high status of street wear brands where Supreme and Bape are.
Palace is a sick brand and defo represents the uk skate scene, would love to see a 14 things you didn't know about skate cafe, because that is also part of the uk scene in bristol. Amazing video guys keep up the good work🤙✅💯
You missed that they did a collaboration with Adidas Golf I believe in late 2019 or early 2020. They had Dustin Johnson (former world #1 player) in the ads. My friend actually got a pair of the golf shoes from the line.
So I'm 27 and a father of two, stopped skating over 10 years ago and wasn't very good to begin with, got sober 18months a change ago and am now single, so I decided to skate again a few months ago, slowly progressing but haven't been able to skate for over two weeks now because I fucked my knee up bad at work, bought a knee brace today and still can only skate for about 10-15 minutes at a time it sucks, also I'm about 100 lbs heavier then I was when I skated all the time and like 50lbs over weight
Do some physic and get back in shape! Then get back out there! I had ankle surgery last year and its been a long slow road back, but damn it feels good to be back!
Just go out & hv fun on ur skateboard.. I'm 41 now n not jumping or do crazy tricks like during my younger days.. I just enjoy rolling on my skateboard.. Enjoy life
Palace has some sick collabs and they've done a lot to bring skating into other realms but to me they put off the vibe that they're better than the core brands cause they got the street wear thing going on! And I'm not really into the street wear scene too much but if that's there thing than cool but you don't have to hate on core or other brands cause they do it a different way. The biggest problem in skating is the hate & bullsh!t inside the industry, if you're a skater you're a skater and that's all that should matter..... except for the cooks of course!!
The one thing I hate is how people walk around wearing Palace Merch without realising it's a Skateboard Brand...It's like the Thrasher Posers all over again...
Once pharrell williams aka skateboard P, lupa fiasco and lil wayne started doing it then other celebrities started doing for clout 🤣 and not trying to give any credit sad but true
pretty cool. i'm not really down for super hyped unobtainable clothes and gear that never gets in the hands of people that have been with the brand from the start, etc. but they mosdef make some dope products. and I believe that any country with skaters in it deserves their own skate company they can feel proud of. every country should have their own skate company... can't always be buying american, especially for countries where the language is different. They should be able to buy skate gear with their language written on it you know.
that slam in beggining tho i could feel myself doing a fuckin frontflip hitting the car with my head and causing mt to a back flip like sheesh man gnarly falz out here
#15 palace skateboards was also the first skateboard brand to introduce real techno to the skateboarding industry world wide and the first to ever use Jeff Mills in skateboarding.
Brands usually give you a "Cease and desist" letter first. Telling you that you have to stop making it or you'll be sued. That's why theres so many rip offs.
they delete IP/data on these garms which makes it diff to trace & build a case to prosecute. invoices/pics don't reference OG brand, socials/www listings immediately deleted upon SO...IFYKYK scenario
Yeah their boards feel good. They make a little less of them than others but the price are average. People bitching about them being overpriced are retards seeing them on xstock or other resellers
also the Penrose triangle was first designed by oscar reuterscard in 1934 although penrose and his father created the triangle seperatly and popularized it with such artists as escher it clearly kept there name sake. tinyurl.com/y89t8h2n if intersted there is a book on it here its just a sample but worth a read if you can get your hands on it.
I just don’t understand collabs... what’s the purpose of having two different company logos embroidered on the same article of clothing. Did they provide a certain amount of creativity to the project or were they made in a different facility. Why not just make a nascar jacket with all the cool brands
Kylie Jenner? Bieber? Soho? West Hollywood? This is a skateboarding brand? 🤦🏻♂️ This is jock shit. Not a fan. Feels like streetwear first, skateboarding second.
