Amazing design, cool kit... But that passive system really makes her a perma pick/ban. It's just outright unfair advantage for the team with Octavia?

Based on my experience of playing her, she feels more of a support character rather than a damage character. Her primary and secondary fire damage is alright, but the inaccuracy of hipfire is really tolling (its good to balance her out, i guess, but as a supposed damage character, that may come across as underwhelming). Even more, her skills are not game-changing, not damage-wise at least (unlike Willo, Drogoz, Tiberius, etc. who have damaging skills that can turn the tables in one way or another), but are good for defending and engaging. What makes her a contributor to matches are definitely not her skills but her unique passive ability. Despite this, however, I feel like she's perfectly balanced, and is either a good backline champion, or a solid support champion imo. These are just my opinions, though, which I really just wanted to share since I'm having a good time playing as her. I don't feel dominating as her nor do I feel useless as her. She maybe is underwhelming for people who're more fond of champions that applies pressure against the enemy team, but all in all, she's a good champ imo. :D

Isn't one of her abilities basically just the old Skye smoke bomb they got rid of cause it was annoying/ confusing or am I crazy?

For the ultimate, I propose something else: Octavia aims with his finger ONE enemy. There will be 2 bars: a power bar and time. If octavia targets an enemy that does not move and reaches 100%, it shoots with its finger and a ray will fall on the enemy making a one-shot and all enemies that are next to the victim will be hit by a wave that swings rays on the opponents (the size changes depending on the distance of the enemies from the hit target). If the target person hides, the percentage bar blocks and the timer activates. The lower the time, the lower the percentage of power.

Dang ..this is going to be one very good character .people are going to need voice chat .so people ca. Vote on which passive she should chose based on team build and strategy

Distortion field will be one of the best abilities ingame. So many combos you can create, so many ults that get stronger. Ruckus + Octavia for example will be way too good, Androxus + Octavia will be almost unstoppable. I fear for the future of this game tbh.

Hey random persom, Im doing a research about the Octavia distortion field bug: on my own PC and all of my friends computers the distortion field its not translucent hes opaque like the one from an enemy Octavia, I think its related to the graphics card, but not sure yet. If u (any person reading this rn) wanna help the research, pls respond to this comment with the graphics card u use and if the distortion field works as intended or not on ur pc.

All her talents are so nice, don't know which one I would use. Also, did she just melt ruckus with her alt fire? DPS seems a tad bit high, no?
