However I don't see anyone coming before God almighty and boasting "I did so many good deeds". We need to acknowledge that we are sinners and we are finite, limited human beings. And therefore God Himself knows that we can never be "perfect" and we can never become worthy of God's presence by our own actions, including good deeds. That's why I believe God the Father sent Jesus the Son. Only Jesus is worthy to come before God the Father. But Jesus invited us to walk with Him as He protects us like a shepherd protects his sheep. I'm open-minded to listen to Muslims but I don't want to deny the love of God as shown by Jesus' crucifixion. Yes the crucifixion seems foolish to us. It sounds like Jesus was unfaithful to God and therefore God demanded Jesus' death. But Jesus was always faithful and obedient to God the Father. No disrespect intended for Muslims. Since I am not related to that conflict, I feel like I don't have right to talk about this situation, but my wishes are for all victims in both sides.
