I’ve noticed today when they are talking about the Dajal these days they don’t talk about the Dajjal but actually talk about the west media and covid and government, which is exactly what the prophet said: that the sign of his coming is that people will stop talking about him, I think people with time will just reference covid and media more and more and will not reference him often or they might even say that he doesn’t exist as a human put as an idea.

Read Surah e Kahf every Friday, Allah SWT will protect that person from the Fitna and impact of Dajjal.

14:20 The thing is that power of Dajjal were miraculous for a good 1300 years, but today those powers are all but realized starting from travel around the world in two days (Jets), carrying mountain of bread (abundance of food), be able to extract Earth's treasures (gold, silver, oil, gas), power to produce rain (cloud seeding), power to burn population (aerial bombing), power to produce crops in abundance (GMO), power to resurrect the dead animals by cloning long after they have died and soon cloning of humans after it becomes non controversial. If you pay attention all these miraculous powers are embodied in a country which kind of invented each and every miraculous power of Dajjal , as described in the ahadees, since the last 100 years,. What is this supposed to tell you? Perhaps we have already been deceived by a deceptive system that is most likely headed by a group ruling our world today, whose leaders were all mini deceivers and the final deceiver will be the final Dajjal who can show up anytime now. Submit and be prosperous, rebel and be destroyed. That sounds familiar, doesn't it.

Islamic eschatology is one of the most interesting studies that every brothers and sisters should know about - remember al-Kahfi, hoping that our iman is strong enough to deflect the blasphemous lies by the Great Deceiver during the End of Days.

Just a thought What if Dajjal is just a metaphorical term and since Dajjal sees only through one eye, does it mean seeing through a turn of events only from one perspective ? The actual reason we have 2 eyes is so that we can see in 3 dimensions and if we only had one eye, like Dajjal, we could not see the third dimension without having to move. So the second eye means a second perspective. And since we say Dajjal would establish chaos in this world, chaos would be established if we start looking at events only from the perspective of one people (hence the one eye metaphorical term), and not through other people's perspectives (seeing with the second eye). If we start seeing through other's perspective (the second eye), only then true peace would be established in this world.

I'm a Muslim and I love Paul and Dr. Ali but there are a lot of huge issues that were lumped into this talk as if they are settled fact that made me feel uncomfortable. These conspiracy theories about Covid and climate change being bundled into the talk is disconcerting. Not to say that there might not be some truth to these theories and fears but talking about it so dismissively is not helpful to anyone and makes me doubt the fact-checking of Dr. Ali in general.

If your Iman relies only on intellectual proofs without a deep spirituality, then you open your self for Dajjalic intellectual warfare conquest, because the true relationship with Allah is not based on logic. Read Surah Al Kalf ch 18 carefully,. It tells us who is the Dajal. The HP(saw) is reported to have said reading of the first and last 10 verses of Surah Kalf protects one against the onslaught of the Dajal.

Fitna of dajal is unique and superior to All fitnas . Sons of Israel worshiped the golden calf , what would people do when dajal appear and turn the sea into gold.

Paul - hope you can have a scholarly discussion about the wisdom behind the severed lineage of Jesus a.s (created without a father) and its divine motive in shaping the escathological future. Also to counter once and for all the idea (amongst jews/atheist) that Mary’s pregnancy was unholy, based on their rule of plausibility. On the first point, I personally think it is to distinguish between the mysterious judeo-christian king messiah (David’s a.s lineage) and Jesus a.s the islamic messiah.

Sheikh Imran Hossein is the only pioneer in islamic escatology in this day and age in my humble opinion . Others don't even come close with all due respect. The book 'Jerusalem in the Quran' is the reference in this field of knowledge of the end times. You should get in touch and invite him while he is still alive .

MashaAllah, fantastic summary of these points and agree with the remediation prescribed at the end. Awaken and then begin implementing these changes. The fironic system or dajjalic system tyrannise to consolidate. Any little measures we can implement day to day to support our fellow people and subtract from this power consolidation should be done increasingly.

So the phrase shouldn't just be "Divide & Conquer", it's "Divide, CONSOLIDATE & Conquer"

its nice to see an islamic scholar understand the finer issues. in surah al-kahf Moses finds himself in between 2 streams of knowledge. One is the religious law, and the other is the esoteric knowledge. I find the islamic community often neglects the second area of knowledge. Al-Khidr represented that type of knowledge. He was also very close to God.

Need a second part that goes more in depth about the story of the Dajjal.

You should also interview Imran Hosein. He is now 80+, spent his life on the topic of Dajjal. The only problem is, he is an out of box thinker who does not talk like western university professors, and he got a few hypothesis wrong, while others, he got brilliantly on target. The man is a brave pioneer, but failed to harness Islamic academic attention, but he does't care much. A very different sort of breed he is, but probably the ummah needs his anomaly.

The new testament warns about a false messiah, a false image concocted by the beast. It warns about a false messiah standing in the temple claiming to be God. Yet no one notices that "Jesus" was standing in the temole when he said "before Abraham was, I AM". Its been right under everyones noses for 2k years. And Romans 1:3-4 refutes the trinity outright. No one is declared a son of God until their spiritual birth not physical birth. Romans 1:4, Romans 8:11. The only miracle conception in the bible is when ANY person tepents and is begotten of the Fathers incorruptible seed (spiritual seed planted in our hearts). The truth is hidden within the NT like a treasure hidden in a field. Most have never found it.

IMHO and unless I can be convinced - note I am no scholar - I suspect the hadith on dajjaal are largely figurative. I suspect we can all easily compare these hadith to several experiences today. In addition, can anyone understand and explain Allah swt bestowing a person with these powers of miracles simply to increase fitnah? Surely human beings and shaitan are already doing the job? Ultimately, the message is to have strong certainty in our aqeedah and strengthen our iman irrespective of the zeitgeists of the day. If the hadith are literal, then I'm still watching. Dajjal, Mehdi, and the second-coming [of Christ] is a 3-in-1 package, which keeps on growing. When I was young, there was hardly any discussion about it, and I believe there weren't many traditions about it. Now, there are thousands of traditions aka Hadith about it. The question is: do the six so-called canonical books of Hadith mention this? God didn't share knowledge about the Last Hour with anyone and yet we have written books, prepared lectures, and made videos on this subject perhaps as much as any other topic.
