I'm with you on the beekeeping aspect. I kept bees for a few years unfortunately my hives were destroyed by wax moth infestations and at the time it was unreasonable to spend the money to start over. But I will be getting back into it in the future. It's extremely rewarding. I rarely wore the suit lol shorts 🩳 no shirt 🎽 hardly ever in shoes 👟 lol. I had very calm bees thankfully!! It isn't always that way. So your research for sure. It's a must

Oh I def am doing a lot of research! I managed to find a few podcasts and a local beekeeper I will be apprenticing under. Very excited! Also, I am planting a bunch of wildflowers and starting my hydroponics garden. Thanks for your comment, man! Means a lot!

I would go sooooo deep into beekeeping. Maybe make a "bee box" item with Furniture Making with a chance for a wild swarm to take up residence each day OR you could maybe find a wild swarm and relocate it into your bee box. After that, maybe it generates honey over time depending on how many flowering plants are in your plot. Since seasons will be a thing (hopefully, right?), Spring and Summer would be the only times to make honey and you would maybe have to overwinter your bees to make sure they survive until the next Spring. Lots to consider. Also, mead is delicious. I wonder if they are going to include brewing in the game, as this seems a bit more... "family friendly" than some MMOs where alcohol is in the game. Looking forward to see what the developers do. Thanks for the video!

After the research I’ve done, seasons are not currently mentioned in the game. But I’m dropping a video soon on how I feel like beekeeping could work. I think only getting a Queen bee as a rare bug catch during spring is the ONLY way into beekeeping and would be the first step into livestock. If you love mead, I got an apple cyser recipe I could share that is AMAZING

as an alpha tester, i cant confirm or deny that there is farming but what I can say is, you're not farming animals.

@@DoitiEtokNews I agree, but people confusing gardening with farming as well. Farming is defined as the activity or business of growing crops and raising livestock. Gardening is just crops, which is what Palia has and Ranching is just livestock. If they incorporated ranching, then yes, we can definitely farm in the game. However, I believe that ranching should be a seperate skill than gardening.
