FREE Pallet Wood to make an attractive workshop wall. The 1st video in this workshop wall build (rusty iron): • Rusty Walls for the Wo... If you enjoyed this video please give it the thumbs up!
Well done Dave, your, work has really paid off in achieving the rustic appearance you desired for minimal cost. In my old cottage I have a somewhat similar effect, achieved by the previous owner using recycled timber, although not from pallets. Some has been laid vertically and on another wall it is done horizontally. The horizontal style works far better on the small walls of my cottage as that seems to make the walls seem wider, but on a long wall like your shed, particularly where you had to cover the protruding columns, I think vertical was the best choice.
Great job Dave, wall turned out really well. Like the signs and oil cans. I think alot of viewers would be interested in you working on the Mini mokes, keep up the good work.👍
Thanks Darby, yes happy so far but lots more work do do. Will do some videos on the Mokes but it is a funny thing that some might like and others not. Cheers Dave.
I think it would still work on exterior. Might have to give it a yearly coat. I have noticed after a few weeks that the timber has lightened slightly as the oil soaks in. Cheers Dave.
