This the actual PAT, it is one step closer to becoming aLaw Enforcement officer. Now, it is the dreading application process for the academy. The PAT was fairly easy, well after the dummy drag... I started to feel it in my legs.
Patrice Seaberry Yeah, they sat everyone down that passed the test and explained the next steps of which department you want to apply to. Some require you do CJBAT and swim test before applying and some don't. But they explain what your next steps are at least with certain departments.
I remember doing this a few years ago, the idiot cadet lead me around the wrong way, I had to go to the back of the line and go last, he had to run laps and do the course himself after we were done...
It's really just reading a passage then answering questions. Best tip is to read the question first, so While reading the passage you will see the answer there.
Such a true statement! It’s common sense knowledge and if you want to become a police officer, a big part is because you have a mind that pays close attention to detail. If you have that, you’ll be fine.
@@Lexsoufz My advisor at the sheriff's office scheduled it for me. Call the department you would like to work for (if they are hiring) and ask them to schedule you. For my case it was a little easier because they are hiring non-certified where I live and an advisor at the office called me and asked me when I would like to do my PAT after I had submitted my application a few months ago.
My son i apply for the manatee Sheriff’s office and he have to do the PAT the same one next week and he's excited to take it my son don't have to take the CJBAT only the PAT background investigation polygraph and psicológical exam and then he will be heading to the academy either in september or next year
i probably weight at 300 lbs but trying to shed off some weight by here to August or when the trail pat is. Any tips? and i need to take the cjbat. how was the cjbat? if you have took it?
hey thanks for the video, i have to take the cjbat test in orlando at valencia college in order to do the physical part, would you recommend any study guides to prepare for the exam?
the college should have it? thanks man, the physical part looks pretty straight forward, is that a state trooper guiding u through tell u wat to do the whole time?
Anil Rodriguez the cjbat test is very easy it’s pretty much common sense scenarios based off how law enforcement would handle the situation vs a regular citizen would . Don’t over think it !
probably because the majority of the test takers complete the course in less than four mins depending. I'm not either but It may have something to do with his attitude while doing the test. Maybe not enough effort or he was wasn't eager enough? Who knows.
still confused as to why the instructor was shaking his head? He finished in plenty of time since he has 6min 4sec to complete. Not sure what the head shake is for lol
Basically there was zero effort. The time didnt matter but the fact that it was a simulation of a "real world scenario" and he was just taking his time is unsat.
Any advise as far as how to keep you breathing right to not get tired quickly doing the PAT TESTING. I have mines 7/11 with Indian river county to submit app for police department and I have one with school 8/8 for palm beach state. When should I go hard and is it exactly like this video. Someone help lol
@@pattymonjaraz oh its all good I drag my 300lb sled 300 yards during my pull workouts lol. Where do I get the info to sign up for this test. I've looked everywhere online
@@prodigalbrock go to palm beach state college and apply than go to future law enforcement and all the information will be there it will tell you step by step
nope. getting accepted is hard. but if you make it don't give up just keep your head down and push on. I'm about to apply myself. My dad is a trooper and it looks awesome!
not seeing the guy replying so I can answer, I completed this in August 2018. Every dept will require you to complete a PAT test before applying, find out which location the dept. wants you to complete because some don’t accept PBSC PAT test, some require the one from Broward College. And yes it is $40.
I smoked my city’s department PAT in my pajamas and ran it again with another applicant. To prove that the course was easy and I could do it in my sleep. I guess they didn’t like my cocky attitude; showing up in pajamas, so I didn’t get the job. That’s fine, I am a Marine and we’re better than everyone and there isn’t anything too challenging once you’ve earned the Eagle Globe and Anchor with the name Marine to go with it. 😁
I was an 0311 in the Marines....and you are just a cocky douche. There is absolutely no reason for you to act like that. You still act like a child, no professionalism in you whatsoever. Sad
