It’s really out of control and unsafe! I think the community and the business community. Need to be included in the discussions of solutions before more homeless are displaced.
CA has a huge homeless problem because of our weather and most of them are addicted, and or mentally ill. We do not have enough advocates, mental health professionals, programs or facilities to help those who want it and to care for the people who cannot take care of themselves. It's going to take billions of dollars to solve this growing problem, so don't hold your breath. That area has all sorts of wide open desert space, so you'd think the local governments could find a place for them to set up their tents and receive the care they need.
