We're on a dedicated (GPortal) server, and until today a) the laser beams have never tracked us, they've always just shot straight ou; and b) the gun turrets could turn but only within a limited range, and only to fire in a straight, non-tracking line in our general direction. Today the lasers are immediately locking on and very accurately track us, nailing us if so much as an inch of our mount sticks out from behind a girder. I've lost my mount shortly after arriving at the rig every time I've been. The gun turrets now have full 360-degree swivel, and also track us accurately. The OPFOR is definitely reacting, firing, and summoning its own Pals more quickly. They also seem a little less prone to just running out in the middle and firing at us. They're doing it still, but they seem more likely to sort of hang back close to a wall or even slightly around a corner and nail us from cover. I know this is probably what it's always been like in single player and maybe multiplayer, but it's definitely forcing us to rethink how we've been farming the rig for Pal experience.
Dam I Noticed This Oil Rig While Riding My Swimming Pal And Saw That And Didn’t Know That They Where a Level 50 And Heard The Alarm So I Got The Heck Out Of There😂😂😂
I’ve done the oil rig about 50 times. I’ve got two gold schematics and they were both the pump shotgun. Good luck to you sir. I have also yet to get the rocket or at schematic from their relative bosses. They should add a pal that increases the drop rates
There's a new invisible wall at the spot where you could pile up all the enemies behind a fence and shoot an rpg through the opening near a big chest location
Lasers seems a little bit less drunk now. They can actually hit you and not just go for fish or something instantly. (If you fly around on Jetragon throughout the entire thing, you'll likely die.
@@N4REG Yes. Leveling up partner skills makes them better. Best example is carrying capacity. A level one Wumpo adds 120 carrying capacity, level two raises it to 130, with each level adding 10 more.
It seems like blueprints are more common because I've done the rig multiple times pre update and I could only get maybe one that wasnt in the gold chest. That or I just have really bad luck.
did they change the way your pals act/path on the rig bc the only ones i can get to attack anything are the humanoid sized pals like Bella Libero, Orserk, and Anubis...every other pal I try to use on there just freezes in place
Why the lasers aren't at all triggered when you ride your jetragon ?? I summon a shadowbeak, and the moment I climb on it (so it isn't even flying) the lasers get immediatly mad.
Jetragon is literally the fastest mount in the game by a long shot, and the person in the video was only using it for brief moments at a time; the lasers likely need time to face the Jetragon before firing.
@@CGHawkatoo The ast time I tried to use a flying mount on the rig the laser IMMEDIATLY triggered, in fact the mount wasn't even flying (shadowbeak) Here he fly around on his jetragon and the laser never do anything.
Legendary rocket launcher has 14,000 dmg a rocket, it pretty much one shots the big guys before the update. Annnnd, it’s no fun, but you can fiddle diddle with the settings in too.
@iTs_Mezz He either has the ledgendary rocket launcher, or he adjusted the 'damage multiplier from the player' stat in the world settings, which can go up to x5.
@@swigmcale7555Honestly, you don't even need to do that. Go in with 4 maxed Gobfins and your Legendary Rocket Launcher will one shot everything on default. There is no RPG in this game right now, by the way.
so what youre saying is... oilrig loot is useless since its all level 55 you need to be level 55 to do it and the loot that is used for leveling up your pals is useless cuz they need to be level 55 too. useless gimmick content they spent money and time on
No, that's you saying that ;) Oil rig is fun content and when they increase the level cap we will se how it plays out in terms of being "end game" content.
@@ProfessorPenking all the loot you got was crap, maybe it it had good schems I'd do it but not for the same chests I can find just running around. The cores you can get from summons
The new best legendary weapons are oil rig exclusive. The Lightweight Armor is also oil rig exclusive. The Training scrolls are also very useful, and you need a lot of oil when you reach level 55 to craft all the new items & structures. You also get some bonus dog coins.
@@ProfessorPenking 1. You don't need any of those to beat all the towers and alphas, 2. Lightweight plate steel armor is in technology smart one, 2. You get training manuals out of other chests too, 3. You can farm oil they give you the oil extractor to build, 4. The mimic chest all around the desert give Dogcoin and they are easy to kill with a single level 50 rocket. All in all oil rig isn't worth the effort "imo"
@@mattkbam6561there is nothing wrong to go for end game content, as this is its purpose of being a hard dungeon challenge with high rewards to make it more attractive. If you want to do things your way, you can. But you don't have to insist that your ways are "easier" by limiting oneself from enjoying the full game. It just doesn't make sense.
