Palworld is a monster-catching, survival and crafting game, but incorporates a variety of mechanics from other genres in order to provide a completely new experience for everyone.
This channel is primarily focused on all things Handheld Gaming be it New stuff or Retro focused!
I will dabble in other retro gaming consoles and news....from time to time... mostly mini and handhelds :)
I am all about having fun and friendly dialogue in the comments section, if anyone is using it to troll, harass, bully or start silly stupid arguments I will ban you right away. Let's be better than that shyte!

I downloaded it for my son and it’s working fine, that was only yesterday, he’s loving the game. Been fun watching his chaotic play🤣

If you put the resolution to 854x480 Windowed with no limit on the fps, you can run TAA with medium settings and hold 40 fps. Just use the stem overlay and turn on stretch with fsr and sharpness up looks good just text a little hard to read in some cases but looks great and runs at a solid 40 so far! Cap it at 40😊

I had to map each button manually since the gamepad wasn’t getting recognized. Besides that its been great so far. 6 hours and only 1 crash. This looks better on low settings on the Deck than Pokemon does on the switch lol

Been using the deck for this quite a lot but issues I found even when on lowest settings the deck will just completely crash after an hour's play. Not perfect right now but unsure if that's just my system messing up. Had multiple issues with cloud syncing to pc but managed to fix it by turning sync off, somehow it worked. It runs well though but unsure how to keep its longevity while playing.

FWIW I've been playing on Gamepass Cloud on the deck. It's not perfect because gamepass can get confused or need a restart if you put the deck to sleep (has to do with connecting to their servers and it still being in beta), but Palworld is a pretty great game to play this way. It suits the decks controls well.

Low setting with view distance on low. Get 28-32fps. No crash. Make sure to restart when you do a major change or the setting won't apply. No point going above 30fps, the game is slow pace anyways. Ran @ 100fps on 4090 on high.

@justina6129 No, rebooting the game. It even tells you some setting won't apply unless you reboot the game.

The spec for this game. Is abit high. 16gb Ram for minimum. 32gb for maximum. 😅 thats crazy.

I installed it on my steamdeck. But my pals are all clustered outside the base and refuse to work. Even if pick them up and throw them to work the slowly walk back outside the base??

I could not get the pop up deck keyboard to enter text into boxes. Had to connect a keyboard using Bluetooth then use that to enter text.

So, do you think I'd be able to run it on a regula 512 gb non-altered original steamdeck? Because looking at the game; Iḿ itching to play it, but don't want to waste the money as I do not have a regular pc anymore
