I first heard this song circa ‘08?? Maybe, given the time, it was on Pandora? Not sure. So, it was probably just after senior year. I was still young and dumb enough to read the band as “pan-nay-shaa” and just go with it. Looked it up years later to see it is “paan-ah-see-ah”, a Latin word meaning “cure-all”, which of course is layers upon layers supah dope. I was so happy to find something so obscure that I was certain even my obscure-music-curating friends had never heard of it. I was right, and I became an instant hero in the group.
