hey giovana que valiosa informacion tengo una pregunta como se prueva la procedencia de ingresos foraneos? a) todos los ingresos que recibes en una cuenta extranjera y luego transfieres a tu llc en panama? o los ingresos que caen directamente en tu llc en panama tienes que checar ingreso por ingreso para idenntificar si es de un cliente extranjero? como funciona?

Hola Ricardo! Existen varias situaciones sin embargo como nuestro sistema es territorial si operas con un LLC panameña las transacciones de venta de mercancías deben realizarse fuera de territorio panameño y los servicios no deben tener efectos o relación con contribuyentes panameños.

So if I understand "tax residency" correctly, an individual who does NOT qualify for Pensionado can nevertheless move to Panama as a tourist then, after 183 consecutive days, apply for the tax residency and upon acceptance will then be considered a resident of panama for life. Is that correct?

If stays for more than 183 days yes 👍 of course a type of immigration type of residency will be considered but timing is what matters the most

How did you know I've been wondering about this.. Can you get the tax residency and certificate also being a Panama resident under the pensionado residency program, by living 180+ days a year in Panama, even if you do not have locally sourced taxable income in Panama ?

Hello 👋 great! Yes you can get the tax certificate as pensionado, no local source is needed, but requirements explained on video (183 days etc)

@@gn2650 in Panama we have a territorial tax system, only income generated on the source is taxable. So foreign income can be declared but is not subject to tax.
