Would have preferred to see 90% of the video of back of the camera and camera settings and not her face.. pretty face but video could have been so much better.
I like the content of the video but it was so distracting when she wasn't looking at the camera... which was most of the video.. I am gonna have to mess around with some of these ... I have so much to learn.

I want to buy the lumix g85 but the approach from what I see is a nuisance, what about the canon m50, it has good quality. I have a budget of 900 dollars, which camera do you recommend for music videos?
Hi Alexandru, this answer comes directly from our Panasonic rep: "When you connect the HDMI to an external monitor you are seeing what the camera sees. Therefore if you activate AFC, then the camera will focus on the subject regardless if you are recording or not. If you have people in the frame, then I would suggest using Face Tracking instead as it would be more accurate."
looking for help.. During filming my g85 will focus on anything but me. It'll take a dust particle on the wall behind me before it will focus on my face or body. I move around a little and the focus will always wander to anything other than me. It's my first cam and I was hoping for great quality video for workout videos but it'll never focus on me. What do you suggest I do?
@@McBainCamera1949 Since I'm filming alone, I feel like manual focus is impossible, since I don't know how far away from the cam I'll be, so I tried using auto focus and continual auto focus. Even tho I turned facial recognition on and saved my face, it still won't focus. I even tried clicking on the screen so it chooses a part of my body to focus on but as I walk away from the cam that square just ends up locking on something else instead of me. The cam is overwhelming with options that a beginner like me can't understand but I'm just hoping it'll be able to focus on me, giving my skin the maximum sharpness and not get blurry and unfocused when I'm moving. I don't know about shutter speed or how to adjust these things but does that have anything to do with it becoming blurry doing movement? I'm sure there's a lot of options I have to mess with so the cam can have higher fps, keep each frame sharp and focused with proper lighting but this stuff is all so complicated and I feel like I need a degree lol. I'm looking for a simple solution that works without having to constantly fiddle with it. All the crappy old cams I've ever used 720p and worse, would keep everything is sees in focus. This is my first dslr and it seems like so much work to get it to do even simple things.. The whole boceh effect would be nice but if all this is happening because it's trying to do that, I might prefer just a 100$ cam that keeps everything in focus instead :( sorry for long reply, hopefully you know what I want ^_^ I've had the cam for almost a year now and barely filmed with it because I can't seem to get the results I'm looking for.
@@mystictheninja1486 Depending on your lighting situation continual or tracking focus may have mixed results. First let's check to make sure there isn't a problem with autofocus. Try shooting some video in bright daylight using "one area" focus mode. Choose a static object then use the touch screen to select focus on it. You should be able to focus no problem under these favourable conditions, but if the focus keeps floating, there could be a problem.
@@McBainCamera1949 From what I remember, it doesn't have a problem focusing on anything else, but will opt to chose focusing on anything other than me. Even if I'm in the middle of the shot, even if I'm wearing the most contrasting clothes to stand out from the background, it will focus on stuff in the foreground or background instead of me. Maybe because I'm moving and other stuff aren't so it's easier to lock onto other stuff.. but I'll go try now just to make sure and troubleshoot the focus like you said. I'll have to look up how to access the 'one area' focus mode tho lol ^_^!

Wow. You guys (errr. . . gals? not trying to offend, just be humorous) just gave me a KILLER little video [bookmarked, of course] about a camera that I JUST BOUGHT . . . because I only have so much money. You're helping me feel good about how I spent my money, that's for sure!! And having a tremendously cute (sorry, i hate that word but yet it's the only appropriate one i can think of) young woman explaining it to me doesn't hurt!!! Great job [even if the affiliation w Panasonic is so translucent]
