Great Q&A keep upload quality content like this. What software do you use to sync audio or do you use timecode?

It was tracked in my field recorder with the internal time code set to 23.976 (have always had luck with this and the GH5 cams), mixed in pro tools, exported and then sent to Caleb where he did a sync in premiere.

Hi Caleb, thanks for your awesome videos. I'm struggling with my RU-vid rendering settings. (always a noticeable difference btw my redered video and the final result on YT) Could you share yours by any chance? I edit on Davinci, GH5, 25fps, 180D, 4K, Natural profile. Thanks a lot!!

YT compresses it too so it might be that. i export from premiere pro at the highest settings.

It’s made by the company, Triton. It connects to an XLR cable and is in line between the microphone and preamp. It utilizes phantom power to help boost the signal of gain-hungry dynamic mics like the Shure SM7B. It reduces noise because the preamp doesn’t have to work as hard. It’s also very compact compared to something like the CloudLifter (same concept, different company).

Why do Nate use Pluraleyes instead of timecode gen like Tentacle sync?

Both are killer options! I don’t personally own a Tentacle sync setup because the jobs I do easily sync up in PE, but there are a lot of jobs with less consistent scratch audio that would be much easier that way.

@@NatePoeppel Thanks for the answer, PE makes for an easy workflow without the hassle of another device/s. I’m 80% run and gun so maybe PE makes more sense.

@Zack Darce This is kind of similar to what im doing. What i meant is I dont know exactly how to improvve the audio voice of the person talking, in resolve, like make it cleaner, deeper, more attractive. Sure I can do basic EQ and noise cancelling but anything above that beats me.. So what I noticed that improves myaudio quite nice is adding the audio in premiere pro, add multiband compressor with the preset internet delivery or broadcast, making it peak at -4 DB. This is instant improvement that I do because i lack the knowledge to do something else :). Thanks for taking your time!

Hi I need some help... frustrating...what is wrong in my gh5 when it is not taking audio in from a 3,5 mm plugin mic nor a cable from a fiels recorder? EDIT EDIT: BLIND idiot me!! the mic input is another above the (headphone) input, which my cable was in. Blind Idiot Me😂

do you have it on variable framerate? no audio on variable framerate.
